The curriculum is decided by KTU(Kerala Technological University). The curriculum is a bit outdated but the university changes the whole curriculum every once 4 years in order to accommodate the changing industry and career opportunities. The course helps to understand the basics of the respective branches. Even though the exams are a bit tight scheduled, appropriate study leave is given to the students.

I think the curriculum is wonderful, however some of the regulations that the university has put in place seems to be difficult for the students. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at KTU. The syllabus primarily addresses the contemporary, industrialized world. The main issue is that you have to cover a lot of stuff in just four months, including lab exams. There is not enough time in the schedule to complete all of the assignments, project, and internal exams.

Electronics and Communication was my major and electronics was my passion since childhood and also the electronics industry is booming in India which also inspired me to take up this major. The electronics department at CEC has well-qualified faculties. They adopt digital interactive teaching methods. All series exams and semester exams are conducted timely as per university instructions.

I choose this course because I was interested in programming and interested in computer language. 40 students per class there is only 1 division in computer science. The teaching methods were so bad they're not enough teachers there. There was no term exam. it's not easy to pass exams.
I chose the electronics and communication engineering course because I like electronics. The faculty is perfect and it was good and ok for a student to pass. There are so many expert faculties and they are so cooperative.
Exams were not that hard. if you study hard you can pass easily. The college has an adequate number of faculties corresponding to the number of students. I choose the course because I was interested in electronic circuits.
The faculty is very supportive but the curriculum appended by the university is quite tough.. my dream was to become an electrical engineer so I choose that course. The exams are done in time there's no issue about that and all faculty members are very supportive in reaching.
I chose CSE because of the future scope of this course. IT industry is undergoing constant growth and the job opportunities for skilled graduates are much better compared to other BTech courses. On-campus placement opportunities were great for CS students. The faculty: student ratio is approximately 1:5. All the faculties are qualified postgraduates. Most of them are permanent faculties and the HOD holds a PHD degree. Classes were taken and portions completed on time. There would be direct interaction between the teachers and students. Internal exams were conducted on time and with the right preparation and time, it is quite easy to obtain the pass mark. Term exams were conducted after the completion of the semester (4 months). 2 Internals were conducted after the completion of 2 modules each.
Fess and Scholarship all are as per government rules and since it is a government college all the government financial assist are available to students. The Placement cell functioning in the campus dedicates itself to help students establish their career. Companies are invited to the College to recruit final-year students. Students have received placements in MNCs like Infosys, HCL, Syntel, Larsen & Toubro, UST Global, CTS, Mindtree, Oracle, Tata Elxsi and Wipro, through the Placement cell.
