Course Details

Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College offers Pre-University Course (PUC) with a number of subject combinations in Science and Commerce stream. The course is affiliated to Pre University Karnataka Board and the duration of the PUC course is two years.

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed SSLC/ICSE/CBSE or equivalent are eligible for PUC admission.

Selection Process: Admissions are direct based on merit and availability of seats.

Key points:

Science stream candidates will study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any of the three: Biology/ Computer Science or Electronics as an optional subject.
Commerce stream candidates will have Accounts and Business Studies as compulsory subjects with Mathematics/Statistics/ Economics and Computer Science as optional subjects.

fees is very high now hostel fees are also high.

The fees were great at my time i had to pay 33000 per year now its more than this. i know placements are good for now. maintainance is good . canteen is now full fleged . parking of bikes and scooty is still an issue.

The fee structure is around 50000 per year and there is category wise fees structure. Other costs might come around 10000 per year like books , assignments etc SSP scholarship is available to students which can be utilised, and the amount depends on course.

Yes so fees is 56500 and if you score more than 80% in 12th you get 2000 discount on fee so its 54500 and the fees increase for new students like example every year the new batch comes it increase by 2000

The exams are conducted with the morning batch students so there is no difference as such

Fees and Financial Aid:

The college fee was 52500/- a year apart from that examination fees were to be paid to the Bengaluru City University for every semester the fees hadn't increased till I had completed the course. However, there is a scholarship also given for the other classes and the students who had scored good marks in their 12th.
