Likes

The environment of my college is really peaceful
The campus is quite clean and beautiful and well maintained

Dislikes

The counter staff is a bit rude and gets irritated quite fast
The auditorium hall is quite small which gets conjusted during college functions

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The total fees of my current course BCA is 72,000 , which is of 3years overall , which comes with an structure of 12,000 per semester , of 6 of them. We have been introduced to some scholarship programs by our mentors .

The college campus is so beautiful and big. The entire campus is covered by nature
The classrooms are well developed containing digital board and experienced faculties.

Dislikes

I don't like the college canteen. The meal or food available in the canteen are few you don't have varieties to eat.
The play ground is small, and sports facilities are not good enough

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The course fees is Rs 6-7 thousand per semester only. If a student's family income is less than 2 lakhs or have a ration card then the students can avail free admission. There are many scholarship opportunities available for the students to continue their studies.

The best thing in my college is the scenery. It was surrounded by nature.
Secondly, teachers of every department is so helpful and supportive.

Dislikes

There is no placement and internship opportunity.
The auditorium is small as compared to the number of students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

For graduation, the fees is around 9000 per year excluding exam fees. There is free admission scheme for the BPL students and for this you must have income certificate. And anyone can apply different scholarship as per their eligibility. Exam fees are depend on the subjects you choose in your graduation including the practicals.

Likes

The best part about my college life in Pragjyotish College is my department (Anthropology). One of the best department.
The faculties of my department and some other departments.

Dislikes

There is no separate play ground for students.
The auditorium is small and it feels congested and also the college campus is small.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

For graduation the fees is around 6500 for BA, BSc. And for BCom, BCA, BBA is ranges around 8000-1000 because these courses are self-financed. But for fee waiver, the fees are much lesser. We must have Income Certificate for fee waiver.

Likes

Geology department is one the best department in the college. The professors are very supportive.
The lab of the department is well equipped with many hand specimens present.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college can be developed

Most of the courses are very affordable. One has to pay the admission fees which range from 6000-7000 in every odd semester. Otherwise, the admission fee for even one semester is only rs 1000. The college also provides sustainable course such as BCA, BBA, Tourism, etc.

The college campus has rich flora and fauna, with two ponds. This really keeps the air fresh and makes the campus feel a little cooler

Dislikes

The college has no proper boys toilet or washrooms. And the ones that already exist are in miserable conditions.
Sometimes there might be lack of places for students to sit in as the common rooms aren’t well maintained and having empty classrooms is very rare.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Being a government college, Pragjyotish college's annual fees during my course was on an average of 7.5k rupees. Adding to that, there are additional costs such as money for departmental programmes such as Freshers and Farewell. One also needs to pay for the educational tours/field trips that are regularly organized. Students with a poorer background can easily avail the free admission schemes provided they are able to produce proper legal documents for it.

I really liked The Department of the subject (Political Science) which i chose the teachers are very friendly and helpful towards the students
The Playground and library is the best part of the college it's really big and nice

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike about this college is that the department or teachers who sets the exams dates..

My admission took near 5160 So it's very affordable as a college atleast for me Because sometimes my parents financial situation is not much goood But the college books prices are higher then it's seems ....it's a bit higher in my opinion or else I'll call it as perfect

The fee structure is quite affordable for middleclass students. Scholarships are also available for the brighter students in the campus who may have trouble paying the amount of fees per annum. Campus placements are also provided.

The fee is not so high,12000 is a good amount for this quality of teaching, Scholarship comes almost every 2 months so every student from our college can apply for the scholarship, the campus is very good, we have a clean canteen.
