Honest review about postgraduate government college sector 11

The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated.There is a girls room in the campus with Ac's ,sofas and proper space to study.
Every department is properly diveded. There is a canteen as well as a nescafe corner along with juice center etc.

Dislikes

Less placements and internship were introduced for the science students especially for medical students not a single placement.
Girls hostel and boys hostel are like 2 different world like boys hostel is just near the classes and everything but the girls one is kinda far and obviously more strict than the boys hostel.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees for BSc medical is very much similar in every affiliated college and along with fees, there are some extra charges for hostel, mays etc. If you are not a UT resident other than that if you belong to a reservation category such as SC ST OBC etc.concessions are provided, concessions are also. Provided on the basis of. The reservations that are made for students belonging to sports category belonging to defence or single girl child category. There are also some scholarships and some funds given to students scholarship schemes launched by Govt.of India available at site https://scholarships.gov.in under National Scholarship Portal. Some of these scholarships that I came across while studying in this college were scholarships provided by the Central government.Then the scholarships that I mainly heard of while studywere provided to single girl child.Or the scholarship provided to the Northeastern people.There were many scholarships that were Ugc provided.And also state provided

If I talk about the campus ,College campus is small. Classrooms are good. Water purifier is installed in every floor. Canteen is good but sometime it becomes too crowded. Hygiene is maintained in campus . Their is a lot of greenery.
If I talk about the Academics , professors are good ,their teaching style is also good, they are friendly with us . The overall interaction between the student and teacher is very great. Seniors also do help with things and curriculum is updated.

Dislikes

Now comes the placement question , the placements are next to zero and even the students do get placed, it's not really with a well known company , We have to be self dependent in this case . The packages aren't that great.
The computer labs have the computer systems , but they all are out dated . They are old generation PC's . They should have the latest technology , and latest software installed in them. The internet connection is also not very good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

So my college is government based college. It use to take our fees semester wise. In every 6 months it charges 27000, which sometimes tends to decrease or increase , but it comes in between 25 to 27K. So in BCA there are totsl of 6 semesters , 6 month of each , which leads to total of 3 years of whole graduation. Per year somewhere between 50 to 55 K (27+27). So the whole degree fee is around 1.5 to 1.7 Lakhs .

The students were very cooperative and friendly. Only because of the, the college became bearable
The teachers and faculty was very good and they helped students a lot in each and every step.

Dislikes

The non-teaching faculty were not very cooperative. The administrative tasks always felt like a burden to the students.
Internships and placements were not offered and no career counselling provided. All the counselling we got was from our friends only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Attending a government college and pursuing a BA was really cheap for me. I paid less than a lakh for the whole degree, and there were no examination fees. Although it was cheap, it didn't add any value or I had the opportunity to upscale myself. There are merit-based scholarships. The quality of education was very good. The courses and teaching methods weren't very good, I spent years studying, but I didn't gain the skills or knowledge for my future career.

Big campus, amazing sports, good canteen.

Dislikes

There are not much dislikings but yes there should generatore in the college as whenever there is a powercut we need to study without even fans running

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure is 20000 per semester and there are 6 semester so total fees will be around 120000 and yes they do provide scholarships, there are different categories whether its caste or percentage or EWS category

Good campus size, infrastructure and teachers are well educated. There are no extra fees like exam and all everything is reasonable

Dislikes

We can only exit after 12pm even we don't have any classes thats a frustrating part

The fee structure is good as compared to other colleges, most importantly our college does not take any other extra hidden fees such as the examination fee is just 150. The fines are pretty low also so there are no overcharging or fees. and there are a large number of scholarships available also

Post graduate government college Chandigarh sector 11 is one of the best college in Chandigarh full stop the faculty of the college is highly qualified and experienced. Teachers help students in academics as well as in their daily life also.
This college has one of the best infrastructure. Every class has smart boards and speakers. Classrooms are ventilated. Teachers opt for best teaching methods . College has really big ground and provides opportunities in sports to everyone.

Dislikes

College is really strict and disciplined . College committee does not entertain any indiscipline in matters of attendance and marks . You have to be regular in college for your own good
There are not AC ventilated rooms in college and it becomes really hard for students to focus in summers. Student also have to carry their ID card with them all the time. No entry will be done in college without ID cards

Students can take admission in postgraduate Government College sector 11 Chandigarh through dhe.chd . Here students has to fill their personal details as well as academic details example marks scored in 12th and 10th . Then admission is done on basis of merit of 12th standard. The cost of study varies from course to course

The teacher's are quite experienced and knowledgeable. Since they are government teachers ultimately get a lot of experience in that perticular field.
The canteen is actually good and food is tasty. Now they got a whole juice corner to get our healthy drinks in very reasonable price.

Dislikes

Some time rules or discipline gets off..
They literally charge for parking our bikes and cars, it happened recently by giving a tender to somebody. T

Since its under central government. The fees get almost no hike in prices. But its also not that cheap as well. Per sem the fees is approx. 25000 since the full course is of 6 sems the total became 150000. Taking about scholarship, they have a lot of scholarship for backwards class people and for religion minorities. Etc

Campus facilities are very good. Supportive teachers and staff of the college is also quite good. Various sports opportunities are there in the college.

Dislikes

The college is not that happening and a person who is adventurous can get a little bored of the college.

The fees of general category students are not that high. And if someone is belongs to bpl then the college grants some decrease in the fees of the college. The students who score more than 75percent gots scholarships from the college.

They fee structure of the BBA is 42500 and the one semester fees around 22000 they also give some special kota and scholarship they also give sc gota and give the sports scholarship to the sports students
