Admission to Asutosh College for undergraduate programs is based on higher secondary marks and requires online application. Candidates are shortlisted using specific criteria and invited for counseling. For postgraduate courses like M.Sc. or M.A., entry is determined by a combination of merit marks and entrance exam scores. The college has a substantial faculty but requires more staff to fully support its academic programs. It is well-equipped with practical instruments such as dumpy levels, prismatic compasses, and GPS devices.
The fee structure is considered feasible, with B.Sc. costing 6,000 per month, B.A. approximately 4,800 per month, and M.Sc. at 19,000 per semester, making it relatively expensive due to its private nature. Although the college offers degrees like B.A, B.Sc, BBA, M.Sc, and M.A, it does not provide direct job placements but supports future government job opportunities. Government stipends are available based on caste category and merit. The faculty is dedicated to assisting students with official and scholarship-related paperwork.
The Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is offered for postgraduate studies. The college provides various seminars and opportunities to enhance students' future prospects while maintaining a reasonable fee structure compared to private institutions.
