I chose to pursue B.com hons because I was good in accounts and economics since class 12. Talking about the faculty: student ratio was moderate. professors were friendly and guided enough the students while preparing for the subjects. Semesters exams were much tougher than internals. The exams were conducted in a term of after 6 months.
This course is very interesting and it has good scope in abroad our teachers were very helpful and we gained knowledge on various topics. Student and faculty ratio was ok and all our professors were qualified. The exams were not so difficult.
The fees is not very high, and it is quite low compared to other BA courses in Bengal. If your qualifying exam, ie 12th is from the West Bangal Board, you have to pay a fees of 3,825 Rs/- per year and for other boards the fees is 4,325 Rs/- per year.
The course i. e. sociology is a very interesting subject. Our syllabus focused on the recent topics occurring in the society. We were given field researchs for our projects. Our faculties were always there whenever we needed them.
