ItÕs a very good college in Bangalore and also itÕs an all girls college so i feel very safe and secure in mount Carmel college, there is no ragging culture and the teachers and staff are super helpful
ItÕs the best in Bangalore, heard a lot of good reviews from everyone and my family I like the extra curricular features of this college it has a nice campus life I opted for this course because I want to become an entrepreneur in the future
3rd year is when we are eligible to apply for campus recruitment we have to register with placement cell to keep updates on companies coming and apply accordingly. We had Goldman sacs, ICICI bank, Accenture, HDFC bank, Idea worldwide, etc and had good package starting from 1lac - 4lac Recruitment is open to all as it was our choice to which company we want to apply so there was no such percentage on applying for different profiles. I got through 2 placements but my family wasn’t ok with the location so I had my profile on Naukri.com and got 2 months assignment at yes bank and then for Amazon I worked for 1 year till now.
The college has 90% placement almost every year. The highest package is around 1000000/-per annum and least package is 250000/-. Top companies like Accenture, INT, Amazon, Biocon, Cognizant, and many more companies visit the campus. Every year an internship fare is conducted so that students can get exposure to working in industries.
Not yet, but I've seen big companies coming around for interviews. I'm sure we will have good placements definitely depending on our grades.
Mount Carmel college is one of the most renowned and prestigious colleges in Bangalore, it has a very nice environment, the campus is huge and clean filled with greenery and the staff is very efficient.
City, Interests, the course offered a wide range of courses within it. I thought it would be a good opportunity to learn as much as I would like to in the 3 years I was here. I also had a senior who did the same course.
My course has subjects I was interested in like film, photography, Indian art, sound design, radio, writing for television, lights design, theater, advanced journalism, film appreciation and much more.
No I loved my college but I wish there was a skill assessment done to advise what course would be best suited to take up and why
Great professors, very holistic approach of teaching, different from other colleges. Practical teaching, breaks stereotypes of syllabus and college systems. Prepares for real work environment. difficult course but makes us very efficient and responsible.
