Remarks :

No I loved my college but I wish there was a skill assessment done to advise what course would be best suited to take up and why

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes it was relevant to my course at the time. However times have moved ahead and the curriculum is as per current educational development and need. 18 years ago and I?m sure has had a huge change in the advancement of education and what kids are being taught today.

Placement Experience :

I have not so I wouldn?t be able to give you information on this. 18 yrs ago I don?t think our college had any recruitment drives.

College Events :

Cul-Ah was our biggest cultural festival and was eagerly awaited by all colleges in Bangalore. Then we have our music fest and our science fests and art fests but Cul-ah was a culmination of everything put together. So ya it was a 3 day festival and had a lot of visibility from the fashion industry, media and the food trucks.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Was feasible in my time and I?m sure it is reasonable now as well. My fee was 30k in total for the year for Commerce and it was either to be paid yearly or half yearly. Mode of payment was by cheque or cash and paid at the college bank. No additional fees

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I didn?t apply for any kid or scholar it was based on pure merit and the skills you have that will help you.

Campus Life :

Yes we had a sports club, science and language labs and Art centre. We have a debate club as well. Ours was an all girls college and admission was never based on economic status, race, sexual orientation or ethnicity. Admission was based on merit and skills

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes but I wish they were more involved and providing us with new developments is the college to know it?s progression standards

Admission :

Through filling an application form. Christians receive a preference as it is run by Christian nuns. My course chosen was out of compulsion by my parents had I chosen my course it would have been across the road at NIFT. So basically you submit your 10th marks sheets together with your baptism certificate from your church

Faculty :

I would say most of my lecturers were in the age group of 28-55 and faculty selection was based on skill and passion to teach. While keeping themselves up to date with the current market developments and know how. All our lecturers spoke English really well and excellent at teaching concepts

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a difficult one but the faculties are chill and helpful. Most of them will treat you like a friend and will help you out. The other expenses will increase as you come to 3rd year which will include printing costs and other stationary stuff.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

If I get a good job of my interest I'll start working or else I'll opt for higher studies which is also available here in this college. Campusing if good and average salary is also good for normal students who don't get high end jobs.

Remarks:

the college is one of the best Universities is in Karnataka. It is a very old institution set up in 1963 which adds more to its reputation . the placement opportunities are very good. I will definitely recommend this college to everybody.

Admission:

I came to know about this college through its online website and applied for it. The selection for the M-tech course is done on the basis of GATE examination, after which there is a small interview and counselling round held by the college.

Remarks:

One of the best colleges in Bengaluru and the campus is the main attraction. It's a green campus. Also, the faculty members are very experienced with an average teaching experience of 20 years. The courses offered in this college are vivid and up to the industry expectations. Also, the syllabus of the courses in our college gets updated every year according to the market trend. Placements are above average with an average package of 7LPA.
