The admission process was really simple. I had filled the form online and we were selected on merit basis. There are some courses which conduct an interview before admission but for my course it was purely merit based There are 2 internal exams and 1 sem end exam per semester I feel the area for admission is quite good

Eligibility criteria depends on first come first serve basis. Since I had pursued my puc in mcc so I got direct admission, but others had to give online entrance test. The admission forms should be filled online and the cost of the form is 500rs.

Admission process was not complicated . It was quite easy and also I had a entrance exam for my particular course that was B.com with US CMA. Out of around 50 people only 15 or 20 were selected initially.

The application form is available on the website of the College. You can check the application process and apply. After the application you'll be notified for an entrance test or just interview or both. You'll receive the call for interview and it's pretty quick and easy. The application fees this year was Rs. 400/-. The application process is very smooth only the duration for fee payment is very short. So it's better to prepare the fund before hand or call and inform the college the way you prefer to pay the fees.

You need around 80 percent minimum in your boards for most courses. All the application details, forms etc are available on the official website of the college along with the relevant contact details in case of further queries.

The cut off was around 80% for Karnataka students and for outsiders it was 87% during my time. Now they do have a PI round as the seats have been increased but the quality is maintained. Exams were always held as scheduled even we were hit by Covid in our final two years but still exams were never postponed or preponed.

While i am not sure of reservation benefit the course was not very easy to apply for as the cut-off during admissions is remarkably high when compared to other competing colleges. This is because of the demand for the seats in the college which are given out in 2 rounds, first come first serve basis. The admission rounds are given out firstly on the board results anyone securing 90+ will most likely secure a seat

Not everyone's parents are available all the time. Students who are eligible to understand their course and willingly want to understand the college should be treated with respect when they come for addmission. I was made to wait 2 hours just because I came for admission alone. I was capable enough but it seemed unfair. The process was fine and was fair in regards to college guidelines but they do not provide any information on what was to be carried along and make us run around next.
One of my friends studied at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. According to her, the admission is usually first come first serve for science but, you need to have more than 75% in your individual subjects in class 12th.
But since this pandemic everything was done online, let me take you through the process.
Do not miss out on the opportunity as it is a really good college and will provide you with enough exposure.
One of my friends studied at Mount Carmel College. According to her, to get admission in B.Com, it is mandatory for the candidate to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
Those who clear the released cutoff marks will get admissions. After the admission procedure, the documents provided by the candidate are verified, thus concluding the process.
