T&P cell is very active in my college. Most of the students are placed in well-known companies like TCS, Accenture, Byju's etc. The average package offered to the B.Tech CSE freshers in my college is 3.5 lakhs per annum and the highest package goes to 7 lakhs. Some of the excellent studnets are also offered a package of 13-15 lakhs also.

Placements is quite poor, you to need to get a job on your own. You can't rely on the college for it. Most of the good students don't even waste their times on the companies that used to come. There is no alumni network.

The college regularly arranged placement campaigns. Some found desired jobs and some won't. Sometimes payscale or location don't suite the candidates hence placement is totally dependable.
