Ai and ds is a new course and its curriculum is quite good .The course is similar to cs but in my opinion it is nicer than the cs course its syallabus is also well designed if the faculty teaches the course in detail and the students study well there are high chances getting placed . But in this college practical knowledge given is not that good and students have to do most of the things on their own. The faculty can improve their teaching skills by first teaching the basics to the students before starting a new computer language .

The Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course started in 2020, so it is not that outdated. The course is pretty up-to-date. The subjects in the 2nd year are good but the chapters in the subjects could have been better. The Artificial Intelligence subjects are in the 5th semester and the Data Science subjects are in the 6th Semester. The courses are good for normal placement, you just have to put a bit more effort into the placement. But if you wish to get a good placement then you cannot rely on the course curriculum and that's where the course can be improved a bit. We have 5 exams in 1 semester, 1 insem and 1 endsem are direct from the university and are the most useful while there are 2 unit tests and 1 prelims and viva for internal marks.

Artificail Intelligence being the skill of future attaracted me to persue this as my undergraduate course, as my course also incorporates Data Science and it being a skill in demad made me persue this course. Academic curriculum is average and not upto the bar, as being a student we ourselve have to prepare with the fast growing market trends and new tecnological developments with available resources. Teaching methods must be changed and more practical and real life, hands on experince should be incorporated in the curriculum Exams are coundected in 40-50 days time gap and difficukty level is moderate and easy.

Let us talk about faculty first, Some faculty is experienced some are not(what to expect from Tier-3 College), Faculty is always ready to help you if you want, they can remove 75% attendance for you if they thought you are really doing something else great, ussualy a TG (teacher Gaurdian) is assingned to every 25 group of students which keeps track of their children and report it to their parents if parents asked, the faculty is qualified most of the has completed P.hd in their respective field, in a class one teacher teaches 60 students at a time.

The first two years they covered basic computer science concepts. The next two year is more AI and data science-specific studies. We have subjects such as data science Ai cyber security etc There are two batches each of around 70 students and every batch has two TGs so the ratio is like 35:1 . The Faculty is extremely qualified and has sufficient knowledge and degrees. Exams are frequent to ensure that the whole syllabus is covered on time.
