The circulam is not up to date thet try bringing new courses and make changes but the teachers dont really adapt much to the new technolgy and system its just root learning not application based learning just for the sake of marks people are giving such assignments.

The course curriculum is not that good , it's pretty average compared to IITs and NITs. Most of the subjects have theory aspects only ,they don't have practical clarity and also teachers also not clear the practical approach of the subjects. In Electronics and Telecommunication we have studied only the basics of the topics but not been taught the practical aspects of the topics and their use in real world. The curriculum does not teach you the applications of the topics. If they teach the practical application of every topic then it would be much better and students also gets clarity about the topics and subjects. The internals in our college are usually after every 35-40 days, and there are 3 internals for each subject and after 3 Rd internals ,there will be internals for lab subjects and then the externals which will last for 10 days for 6 theory subjects.

I CHOOSE THIS COURSE BECAUSE THE RANK I GOT THIS WAS THE BEST I WAS GETTING IN MOST REPUTED COLLEGE OF KARNATAKA. THE FACULTY HERE ARE VERY MUCH QUALIFIED . GIRLS BOY RATIO IS QUITE GOOD HERE COMPARE TO OTHER ENGINNERING COLLEGES ITS ALMOST 5:3 HERE. EXAMS ARE HELD EVERY MONTH HERE BUT EASIER TO PASS.

I wanted this course because there is very less difference between telecom and communication. And I want to go on the networking side. ET and EC are exactly the same branch but there is very less difference. ET focuses on networking more. There is a very good ratio of students in the ET branch. If you see gender wise then I have to say it is 45:55. There is the total strength of ET students is around 120. Most of the faculty members are PhD. And in the ET branch of this college, you have to maintain your attendance. And exams like quizzes, and internals, as they take place frequently.
