Established in 1965 as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the college was initially affiliated to Osmania University. Later, it became a constituent college of JNTU Hyderabad and was renamed as JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad.
College of Engineering, Jagitial (CEJ) was established in 2007 as a constituent college of JNTUH, with an intake of 60 in each branch of engineering and a total of 300 students in five different branches viz. CSE, IT, ECE, EEE & ME.
- The university offers B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE & ME and M.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE-DSCE, EEE-Power Systems, ME-Engineering Design.
- Admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program is based on marks secured by the candidate in TS EAMCET counseling.
- TS EAMCET is a state-level entrance exam organized by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
- TS EAMCET application fee for general candidates is INR 500 and INR 250 in case of SC/ST candidates.
- Fee payment can be done through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking and UPI only.

The university offers B.Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), and Mechanical Engineering (ME).
Admission to the program is done on the basis of marks scored by the candidate in TS EAMCET examination. Candidates can apply online only for TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Entrance Test).
- Candidates should have passed or appearing for their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as optional subjects.

JNTUH College of Engineering, Jagtial Application Process 2024
Candidates can apply online through the official examination website for the undergraduate (TSEAMCET) and postgraduate (GATE/ TSPGECET) courses.
For TSEAMCET/ TSPGECET:
- A notification will be released by the state government, following which the application forms will be officially released.
- Candidate should log on to the official EAMCET/ ICET website for registration
- Candidates must first pay the application fee via online banking / debit or credit card payment, following which they will be given a registration number.
- The form must then be duly filled-in with all personal and academic details.
- All necessary documents as well as a recent photograph should be properly uploaded along with the submitted form.
- Candidates must retain a printout of this completed form with them at the time of examination.
For GATE
- A notification will be released by the IIT, following which the application forms will be officially released.
- The registration link will be available from the GATE website.
- Candidates must submit duly filled-in form, along with uploaded photograph and photocopies of marksheets.
- Online payment of the application fee, generally between INR 100 and INR 500, can be done through net banking.

- The infrastructure is also good. The buildings were super spacious and you'll just love it.

- Bathrooms, they used to be horrible, but I guess they have changed it now.
- Faculty, they have the knowledge, but they won't express it you've to express it
Admission:
I got the seat through TS Eamcet in general category, my rank is 7700,you can find the application on the internet or you can take help of the brother in internet centre,I tried for JNTUH but I got JNTUHCEJ, SC and ST have a benefit, my friend who got a rank like 15000 got CSE just because of SC reservation. The exams are generally conductor in regular intervals 8 mids and 8 semesters just like any other engineer college.

- the explanation of lessons is very slow at the end semester they put ppt.
- the mess food of hostel is very bad we con't able to eat it

Admission process is good I took an entrance exam that is eamcet Cut off to my branch in our college is 16000 in OBC category College fee is less in my college It helps to poor students who are willing to study

IT was good and helpful.Yes i had written EAMCET exam.The application process was good and cuttof was around 15000.Certficate verification was too old format and sometimes the faculty was frustrated,I am lucky to have seat in this college

The admission process for diploma students is through ecet exam , I secured seat electronics and communication engineering and the cut off rank was 1000. Coming to reservation benifits EWS certificate helped me to get admission in this college during the counselling process

The admission process was not so easy it took several days and also I wrote an entrance exam to join the collage it was very difficult but as my hardworking skills I got the opportunity to join the collage there are certain eligibility limits to join a particular course high score gets the top course and accordingly we can select the course based on the marks we get .we can find the application form and application fees and also application dates when we take a admission.and also some how this reservation benefits more for the persons who have the reservation if they get less marks then also they have a opportunity to get a good course .admission for every unreserved student should be same as the reserved student

- I liked the campus soo much . Because it is vast and very far from traffic and pollution. It is surrounded by trees and beautiful nature .
- As our campus is isolated we enjoy the company of friends too much and our bonds are too good with each other. We spend quality time in hostel

- There are too many monkeys in our college and it is too inconvenient for students and somewhat risky because of those monkeys .
- I dislike the way how the watchmen treat the students . They disrespect students alot and its very hurtful

I got admission through ecet examination I have heard good feedback about the college And there are Many reservation benefits for sc and st community students students should get less than 800 rank in ecet to get admission in this college . The only fault there in this admission is lack of adequate information to the students and proper time structure to start the academic year . Application can be found during july to August months of every year . Application fee is 1000 Rupees per candidate
