Admission to government college of engineering and research pune is completely based on CET and admission happens through CET cap rounds. Reservation is available and its also can be seen in previous CET cap rounds what was the %tile for reservation for our college. Exams here are really competitive and hard ! Hence people here get backlogs and even get year down due to poor performance! getting good cgpa matter for campus placement later.

Eligibility Requires to clear your PCM group with min 50 marks in each subject Non-Zero score in the MHTCET exam based on merit and college preference chosen by the candidate college is allocated You can find the application form at mahacet's official website I am from the open category so I didn't avail any reservation Benefits. The exam is conducted once per year from Apr to June. I don't think there is any scope for improvement in the admission procedure already it's best.
You have to get a better score in MHT-CET for getting admission to any branch of your choice. Application forms and application fees and application dates are available on the college website, fill out the application form from the college website. The admission process is good.
It was very good and simple. When the minimum marks were got. But college gives merit criteria first and then enters the students in each field which were available in our college and there is no issue for age.
I have applied to many of the engineering colleges. But I got government college so I gave preference to govt first. The admission process of our college was based on CET merit. Three cap rounds were held during admission. The admission process was very easy and quick.
My 1st preference always for the government colleges..so I have been applied to all government colleges in maharashtra ..among them ..I allotted government collage of engineering and research avasari and this is my dream college because firstly it is government and 2nd thing is fees it provides better education in low cost . I got e&tc branch at 90.87 percentile of cet . Admission day was nice. All faculties and staff of all college were very cooperative and supportive . I am blessed to be a part of this collge .
I have applied to many of the colleges like DY patil chinchwad, Icoear etc. But I got Government college so I gave Preference to it. I availed my admission from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Quota. In govt colleges, there is 10% quota for Economically weaker students. In this We have to provide EWS certificate to college then it will be further be processed. In my college there being 3 catwise merit lists and then who will Fix in criteria they will get selected for the admission. Our faculty is so good in teaching and Infrastructure is also attractive and best. I'll definitely recommend others to Get into Govt Awasari college. There is also a Cap round after admission for the students who didn't get their branch at the time of the main admission they can change It through the merit list.Cap round helps students to achieve their dream branch. It is also so helpful and good. In the second year, we can also change institute Or branch too. By the result of first-year CGPA, it will help to branch change
- It is a Government College. - Fees of this college is 6363 (obc) ,24863(open),1363(st/sc). - We get many types of scholarship. - Hostel fees is 1150. - Infrastructure of the college is really good. - Quality of teaching is also good. - Admission is only through CAP ROUND and SPOT ROUND of mht-cet and direct second year(for diploma students). - I used MHT-CET cell portal for selecting this college.
