University School of Information, Communication and Technology, located in New Delhi, is one of the premier colleges in the country. Established in 1998, the college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). The college offers full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses viz. B.Voc, B.Tech and M.Tech dual degree, M.Tech and MCA. Candidates are required to appear for IPUCET examination for admission to B.Voc, JEE Main for B.Tech + M.Tech dual degree, NIMCET for MCA, and GATE for M.Tech.
The process of application is online for all the programs. Candidates can apply online through GGSIPU official website.
- For B.Tech admission, the candidate should be passed in 10+2 in science stream with at least 55% aggregate marks and appeared for JEE Main.
- The minimum eligibility for M.Tech is that the candidate should possess BE/B.Tech in relevant field of engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks and should have a valid GATE score.
- For MCA, the candidates should be passed in bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks and valid scores in NIMCET

USICT B.Voc Admission 2024
The college offers bachelor in vocational course and the admission is based on the counselling conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for this course is that the candidate should be passed in 12th standard in science from a recognized university.

USICET, New Delhi offers B.Tech + M.Tech dual degree regular course in three specializations and the admission is based on the counselling conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). USICT M.Tech Admission 2024
The College offers weekend and regular M.Tech admission in multiple specializations and the candidates are shortlisted on the basis merit in qualifying and GATE/CET examination. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for this course is that the candidate should have passed in BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering or master’s degree in science and possess valid GATE/CET score.
Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted by IIT every year for admission to M.Tech and PhD courses. The process of application is online and the minimum eligibility to apply for the exam is that the candidate should have passed in bachelor’s degree. There is no age limit to appear for this exam.

Candidates will be selected for M.Tech regular course based on the rank secured in the GATE while for M.Tech weekend program; candidates will be selected on the basis of the CET rank.
- Candidates with GATE scores are preferred for admission to regular M.Tech program.

The institute offers MCA admission in software engineering. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for this course are that the candidate should be passed in bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks.

USICT Application Process 2024
The process of application is online for all the courses. Candidates can obtain the application form available at the university’s official website.
- Candidates have to register online to appear for CET via university’s official website. The applications form along with the common entrance test fee of INR 1000 has to be submitted online.
- The payment can be made through net banking, debit card or credit card or by cash in any branch of Indian Bank.
- The following documents should be uploaded along with the application form:
- 10 and 12th mark sheets
- Caste certificate and domicile certificate (if applicable)
- Undergraduate mark sheet
- Mark sheet of qualifying degree and semester marks sheets
- Colored passport size photograph
- Migration certificate

USICT Reservation Criteria 2023
The college offers the reservation policy as standardised as per the guidelines of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University as follows:
- 85% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Delhi region.
- 15% seats are reserved for foreign nationals, foreign students or students belonging to outside Delhi region
- 10% seats are reserved for management quota
- 27% of the total seats are reserved for the OBC category students.

- The downfall in placement is too drastic like when I got admission the average package was 14 lakh but for my batch it has been dropped to 4 lakh in which only 45% students have been placed only

- I liked the campus as it is pretty big and there is greenery everywhere, the campus is very clean and maintained.
- I liked the fun activities at the campus as there are many events going on throughout the year.
Dislikes
- Classrooms are not air conditioned, like according to the fees i guess the room should be air conditioned.
- In many classrooms projectors are not working and they are very lazy to fix it.
Admission:
For Btech JEE Mains is the exam that the student needs to clear with good precentile and rank. I am a lateral entry student so i took admission through IPU LEET exam which was difficult as there was negative marking and to get into USICT you need to get your rank under 20-30. You can apply through the ipu official website for ipu leet and prepare for it. Students from SC/ST or other reservsation gets a lot of benefits as one of my friend is SC i guess and she had an 800+ rank and still got an IT branch in USICT. The admission process is not very hard as you get the list of documents on the official website, and all the admission process is almost done online on their Website.
Dislikes
- The extremly high cuttoff on which students get admission but our university not give placement according to this cuttoff

The admission process totally based on jee mains score.The cutoff on which i have taken admission is 65000 but i am ews and taken admission in spot round 1 and branch is ece . Application form is name d as IPU btech form you need to apply it which demand your domicile ,category, 10th and 12th certificate and fees of rs 500. and it will be given seat allotment in 3 normal rounds and 2 spot rounds. for spot round yoyu need to pay rs 500 agian. But in spot round you will definetly get any seat according to your choice filling.

- Only three courses are offered at University School of Information communication and technology.
- Since we only have three courses that is computer science, information technology and electronic engineering the batch size is low.
Dislikes
- Most of the students in electronic brach are more inclined towards computer science topics.
- Since most students are inclined towards coding we are not able to take electronics topics as electives.
Admission:
Jee mains score is required for addmission in this college. Application form can be found at the site of ggsipu. Previously cet used to be conducted by ipu for admission purpose which was discontinued. For mtech gate score is used.

- No attendance criteria till now but Dean are taking concern for attendance might apply the criteria from next session

- Construction in campus making campus air and environment very bad
- No places remained for games like lawn tennis and basketball ball

Addmission through the jee mains percentile approximately 90-92 percentile is enough for this college. you have to fill the counselling through the Ggsipu website for this college seperately for admission in this college.

If a student got 60% marks, in their 12th class. So he/she is eligible, along with this they should also get the good jee mains rank, to get a seat in case/it/ece brances. If you belong from reserved categories, so you can get college upto 2-3 lakh rank and in somecases till around 4-4.5 lakh

Admission process was very smooth. Eligibility of the course was you must have atleast 60% in your 12th class and also cleared the cutoff marks in JEE MAINS exam. You will find the appilication form on official website of ggsipu. and after you fill the application form there will be various rounds of cutoff will be held and accordingly you got your respective college.You get to know information about your college cutoff on official website of JAC delhi. After you got shortlisted you have to go to respective college and do further admission process.

12th pcm and jee exam and applying in the ipu cet application form it is available on ggsipu official website. There are 8 semester in every sem exams are held twice, there is no exam currently for btech admissions only jee marks are required.

I enrolled for btech counselling of GGSIPU which is based on the score of Jee Mains - 1 held by NTA in june 2022. At the time of counselling I was searching for colleges on some websites that provides admission guide for Btech colleges ,there I found about Guru Gobind singh Indraprsatha University ,Delhi that provides Cumputer Science courses in BTECH .Then I visited then official website of GGSIPU and registered for the options available for the BTECH and in 3rd round of the counseeling I got computer science in USICT whic is the main campus of GGSIPU . I availed my seat through GEN-EWS quota which provide 10% reservation for the students of general category coming from backward class.

- Bad Gender Ratio, Average Classrooms with no AC and no Smartboard

Admission:
Admission was done through GGGSIPU Counselling. There were 3 Rounds and later Spot Round. I got seat of B. Tech IT in USICT in Spot Round 1. Seat was givem to me on the basis of Rank in JEE Main Exam.
