Asansol Polytechnic Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After examination of 5th-semester students are eligible for placement campus- JSL, JSW, AM&NS, HINDALCO, TSML, GAINWELL, L&T, etc. 20000/- per month. In the metallurgy branch, about 95% of students are placed in the company.

The placement in our college is very well. After the 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. This year we didn't visit any company. Almost students get placement by our institute. The highest package offer is 3 lakhs per annum. After the diploma, we want to study b- tech.

After the 5th sem one should be eligible for campus placement. Birla, Tata , zindal as so many. In the metalargical department, there's 100% placement provided. On the other hand there about 20-40% of students are placed through other branches. As I would complete my course diploma in mining engineering, I would go through ppt training for 1 year.

Our college provided a good chance at a job in placement. Our branch has 100 percent placements. Shyam Sel, Jindal, Rashmi Metallics, Tata Metaliks, Super Smelter, Mython, Bengal Energy, L&T, etc company visited our college every year and engaged students in jobs in their respective fields. The average package they offered is nearly 30000 annually.

I was interested in electrical engineering so I choose this course. All professors are Ph.D. holders so they teach very well. And their teaching method is also very good. Term exams are not so tough you can pass them by doing a little bit of study.

Our college is reputed because of its placement. Many companies visit this college for placement. L&T, Bengal Energy Ltd, etc company visit our college. In the branch of Metallurgy, the placement is so high. Almost 99 per cent of students got placed from this college in the campus placement. The average package they offered is nearly 200000 INR annually.

I chose this course because this is the course related to the mining industry and the Asansol Raniganj belt is a coal field belt so mining is the best subject. There are 60 seats for mining and 20 seats for mine surveying maximum in 1st year. The teachers are so good.

Many companies visit our college and take an interview and gave jobs for his company. Tata, Ambuja, L&T, Jiomart, etc company came and take placement. The average package they offered is 200000.

Placement is very important for every technical College. This college provides around 90% placement. Every student got placed in higher company including Ta ta, Ambuja, L&T etc. Average package they offer is around 1.8 LPA to 2.4 LPA.

This year the companies taking placements are JINDAL STEEL AND POWER LTD.(JSPL), JAIBALJI GROUP, DANA ANAND INDIA LTD. JINDAL STAINLESS (JSL). JAMURIA SUPER SMELTERS, SHYAM SEL. And some companies took apprentice like BAJAJ AUTOMOBILES, TATA METALLIKS, etc. The highest packages offered by the companies are 16k-18k per month and the average salary is 12k-13k. It's a Govt. College so all students don't get placed, to be honest, students have to score above 75% in every semester exams and also have to score well in the placement assessments. However, more than 70-75% of students get placed every year.
