No, I have not opted for hostel. my college doesn't have have hostel facility. Students stay in outside hostel near other colleges. It's 2 sharing and 4 sharing rooms it's big and comfortable transport also provided.

MOP Vaishnav, a whirlwind of an experience.

Hostel Facilities:

Our college holds about 3 different kinds of canteens. One that provides south Indian food such as rice, vada, idly, dosa etc. Which caters to the students who like south Indian food. The second canteen is a canteen that is special just for different kinds of juices and milkshakes. And the third canteen provides us with north Indian chaat food, which is a change from the regular monotonous food. Our college doesn't have a facility of hostels. And the canteen food is very reasonably priced.

There are different kinds of events in my college. The main events are JHANKAR, ABHILASHA, VISH, SHRINGAR (students cannot go as audience), ect.... the months for these are Dec-Feb, Aug, Oct & Mar. If you make good friends or already have good friends then this college is a jackpot. The events are very limited. There are a lot of scope for sports. Infact the sports students are seen as GODS by the college.

we had festivities almost every two to three months which was fun. i can't recall which months specifically but was always having fun on campus with activities and stalls. books in our library were of variety of topics and fun and easy accessible to knowledge given. sports was not much maybe considering it was an all girls college but not sure.

My experience is very insightful and it made me evolve as a person. Teachers, students and the overall department of Psychology were so supportive and helpful. There is a separate club for Psychology called Chinmay Club where many conferences, workshops and guest lectures are conducted regularly. The library in MOP is so good where you find various course related as well as many novels, and storybooks for students. Even though the infrastructure is quite small the students and the teachers make the college a good place to grow as a person both personally and professionally.
