Chhatrapti Shivaji Institute of Technology, (CSIT) is located at Durg, Chattisgarh India. CSIT Durg is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai. CSIT offers Undergraduate and Post Graduate programs in the department of Engineering & Technology. At present CSIT offers UG programs in 7 streams & PG programs in 4 streams.
Chhatrapti Shivaji Institute of Technology, (CSIT) invites application for B.E and M.E programs through centralized Admission process conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board.
Eligibility: A pass in 10+2 is required for B.E program. A graduation degree from a recognized University is required for M.E course.
Selection Process: Candidates are selected in B.E program on the basis of score of CG-PET and JEE Main. Admission to M.E course is offered on the basis of valid GATE score.

CSIT, Durg B.E Admission 2023
The B.E programs offered by CSIT in various streams are basically of 4-year duration. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the institute.
- Admissions for the year 2021 to the BE courses will be based on the score obtained in the CG PET 2021 & JEE Main 2021 only.
- CG PET 2021 will be conducted on May 11, 2021 for which the registrations are started from March 24,2021 till April 15, 2021. Post the results, counselling will be conducted for B.E admission.

CSIT invites applications for the academic year 2021 for M.Tech course on the basis of GATE score. CSIT also offers M.E programs in some specializations to sponsored category candidates. Candidates with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved) in B.Tech are eligible to apply for M.Tech programs.

For getting admission in Csit you should be 12th pass or Had Diploma and should cleared a CGPET examination conducted by state authority the details of application form , application fees all are provided by the PET conducting body of CGPET If you have reservations you can avail scholarship easily

The admission process for this college is not so hard as it consider the 12th grade and also CGPET score with the cutoff of 4000, and anyone can easily get admission on this college with minimum persentage of 50 in 10+2.

I have opted to take admission in this college based on the marks obtained in the PET exam as well as the legacy of the college as it is one of the good technical colleges in Chhattisgarh with all others facilities. I have not availed of the quota in the admission process. Admission criteria in similar to other colleges i.e. based on 12th exam marks/PET/JEE marks. The admission process is very simple, after getting the scorecard of the PET/ JEE marks the after filling the form in which courses and colleges which you want to opt for are filled then after counselling if seats are available then we can get admission. On the other side, if a student is decided to take in that particular college, he/she can visit directly to take admission so that they can reserve their seat.
Admission:
College is located in the rural area of Kolihapuri Durg. It has a very beautiful infrastructure with great facilities like library, well-furnished labs, conference rooms, seminar halls, board room, grounds, hostel, gym, atm, post office etc. Faculty are very experienced. Selection can be done via JEE, CGPET or direct admission also. For direct admission, there are some minimum charges which have to be paid. Hostel facility is also very good with the best clean mess food and rooms. Management is also very helpful regarding the admission.

I like the infrastructure of this college. They will try to do the best for every student. There are many facilities like playing sports and other activities.

According to my search experience, it's the best college who providing excellent classroom and lab facility, greenery and healthy environment. And the best things is that there are more than 40 company visits our college for campus selection. That's the reason why I'm preference this collage over others.
