The admissions at Kalna College, West Bengal is based on the merit obtained by the students in either their 10+2 or their undergraduate exams. Kalna College Scholarships
As per the college website, the students that belong to economically backward classes are given some concessions in the tuition fees. To support this initiative, the Students Union also arranges a Student Aids Fund for the students who need financial aid. Moreover, the meritorious students are also entitled to receive government stipends. All these provisions are more of a concession than a scholarship to the student.

- NCC and NSS: The college encourages all the students to join the National Cadet Corps under the 54 Battalion. The college has 3 units of NCC, where two are for boys and one for the girls. The college also has a functional National Service Scheme unit for all the students and again they encourage the students to join the unit. If you are enough marks in 12th for this course then you eligible for this course. A merit list is issued and if your name shows on this merit list then you can take addmission in this college. You application form on online in college website. Application fee is 300 rupees for this course and application date is end of July. If addmission full process is more than easy it helps us.

The admission process is not very difficult. Firstly we have completed our online application and go to college for verification. A merit list is issued for enrollment in the course and then admission can be taken. The application form was issued on the college's official website and my application fee is 1200 rupees. Online application started in the middle of July. If the entire process can be done online then it is very beneficial for the students.

- We have library facilities but we can't find all books
- Our result publication process is too lengthy

Eligibility of the course is higher secondary in any board or any school. Application form is found in cyber cafe. application fees is free of cost.and application dates is on May or june. Reservation is not availed. Admission process is very easy so i don't want to see any changes on this process.

- I feel very bad about the security system of the college as there is no security system anyone from outside can enter the college anytime.
- There is no drinking water system in the college, there are two and they are broken and no one is making arrangements to fix them

The admission process of this college is very good and I have not given any entrance exam for admission in this college.For the admission of this college only admission can be done when the notification is released from the college and the form is filled online. I used to pay 2800 rupees every year for free admission.

In the college basics of the admission were the marks of HS EXAM. The college staffs are very cooperative and the college union was very helpful. college is situated in a very suitable place both the bus stand and railway station are about 10 to 15 minutes by walking. there is a market beside the college and a stadium on the opposite side of the college. there was no sign of a canteen on the college premises. there are many departments in the college ....in the science background faculty of the chemistry department is one of the best faculty of the university and for the art background, the geography department is the top-notch department of the college. classrooms are small but that cosy..there was a very big hall room also in the middle of the college building there is a stage and a small open ground in front of the stage in my mathematics department there were 3 professors and a guest lecturer. all of them are top-notch in their respective parts. great college infrastructure.

The admission was marks based. All details are available on the colleges website The teachers are all well qualified and very friendly. But my batch mates are ok. The local students are not at all friendly to others. Overall college is quite good.

I got admission in kalna college by applying offline and go through the merit list round. At each round every candidate is allowed to choose the group they want as per their merit rank and they can choose the group they want or they can wait to get seat in future if anyone skip the seat and finally got admission in kalna college.

The course curriculum is very interesting and the pattern of education is very easy-going, we have exams and case studies frequently which keeps us engaged in the subjects and at the time of final exams we are already prepared.
