Kaliabor College, one of the finest colleges located in the heart of Nagaon, Assam, India. Started in the year 1969, this college is Affiliated to Gauhati University and accredited by University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Backed by government control and facilitated by IIT Kharagpur, this college offers six UG courses such as- BBA, BCA, B.A. in seven specializations, B.Sc. in six specializations, B.Com. and B.Voc. with two specializations each for a duration of three years.

To be eligible for admission to the above-mentioned programs, the candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification in a relevant stream.

Kaliabor College Assam UG Selection Criteria

The selection of a candidate is based on purely merit. Although, the rules of reservation are followed by the administration on selection.
On registration in the official website, the candidates will be getting an SMS about their selection.
The particular date will be given for the interview. So, candidates attending the interview must carry all the required original documents.
The selected candidates list will be posted on the college’s notice board as well as on the institute’s website.

How to Apply for Kaliabor College Assam?

Next, the candidate needs to register their name by visiting the official site by making an online payment of Rs 200/-
Login ID is the candidate’s Mobile number and password needs to be given by yourself.
After registering, the candidate needs to fill his/her personal details by visiting the same registering link with their registered credentials.
After filling the details, submit the form and take the print out of the same.
On the date of admission, the candidate needs to submit the printed form along with the original documents to the Admission committee for further checking.
Based on the verification, the candidate gets an SMS about the selection status.
If selected, the candidate needs to make an online payment of their admission fees within 48 hours of the selection notice. On failing to do so, the admission seat will be forfeited.
Once the payment is done, the candidate will get a payment receipt, take a printout of it and present the same at the time while collecting his/her respective ID card.

Kaliabor College Scholarships

To encourage students, the college provides scholarships for meritorious students. Free studentship will be given to the students based on their merit, but by following the rules laid by the government. In addition to that, there is also a “Minority Scholarship”, which is given to students who belong to minority community. And thereby supporting equality of education and education for all.

Admission:

The admission process starts right after the declaration of the 12th results, that is from mid-June to July. For the admission form, you have to open the Kaliabor College official website. The fee for the application form is Rs. 200, and after submitting the form, the printout has to be submitted to the college office. The cut off is 60% with PCB in the 12th. Reservations are given as per the government norms.

Admission:

It is one of best college in Assam. The administration is very good and responsive. Other departments are very good (BA BSc Bcom). But BCA itself is struggling. Because it is not government funded. It is a self funded course. However the admission fee is competitively very low only 10000 per semester. But for many students it is not affordable. So the rate of admission is low. That's why i think BCA is struggling in Kaliabor College or any other colleges in Assam. By struggling I mean ( teacher get very low salary so they come do the job for one-two year for experience only and then they leave to get other job.

Admission:

The admission process is completely based on the 10th and 12th mark sheet. The eligibility is strictly made in that way and the students have to fill in an online application form and then wait for the results.

I am doing BBA and My admission in the college is solely on the basis of my merit in the academic year (10+2) followed by an interview by the college in which we have to take all the required documents with us. I got admission here based on merit, for taking admission in B.Sc mathematics we should have 10+2 or 12th qualification in science with 60% marks. Once we got shortlisted for admission then we have to bring all certificates at the time of admission.
