Regional Institute Of Education, Bhubaneswar was established in the year 1963 under National Council Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

The RIE Bhubaneswar provides education in 2-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), 4-year integrated courses in B.Sc. B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed., and Master of Education (M.Ed.), one-year Diploma Course in Guidance and Counselling, M.Phil in Education and Pre-Ph.D. in Education programs.

The Institute also has the provision of Research and Development. Admission to the courses are done through CEE entrance exam.

Minimum eligibility to apply for B.Ed. is Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
For admission to B.Sc. B.Ed. course candidate must clear 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Those who wish to apply for B.A. B.Ed. must pass 10+2 from arts, commerce or science with minimum of 50% marks.
Candidates having Diploma or under graduation degree in science or arts with at least 50% marks in the aggregate are also eligible to apply for B.A. B.Ed.
Those applying for M.Ed. program must have Post Graduate or Under Graduate Degree in the streams of science and arts with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
Applicants who have passed B.Ed. with 50% marks in the aggregate or B.Sc. B.Ed. and B.A. B.Ed. with 50% marks in the aggregate may also apply for M.Ed. program.
Minimum qualification for M.Phil. Degree is M.A. in Education or M.Ed. Degree with at least 55% marks.
Diploma Course in Guidance and Counselling is for all Indian as well as international students.
The DCGC course is a one year program comprising guided self-learning, Intensive practicum and Internship.

Key Points:

Candidates applying for science subjects of B.Ed. program must have at least one group of subjects as given below in qualifying exam:-

For Science:

Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics
Chemistry, Botany and Zoology

For Arts:

English, Hindi, Oriya and Bengali
History, Geography, Political Science and Economics

At the time of admission, weightage will be given to entrance exam as well as to the qualifying examination marks.
Teaching Aptitude Test is also the criteria for evaluating the ranking at the time of admission.
Those who have appeared in 2019, 2020 or have appeared or appearing in 2021 are only eligible to apply for B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. courses.
The entrance test will be of 2 hours and there will be no negative marking.
Entrance test will have in total 40 multiple choice questions of 2 marks each and 4 short answer type questions carrying 5 marks each.

This college there is NCC for girls but no NCC for boys... It is a government college but admission fees are more...

Admission:

Admission process for the institute is RIE CEE EXAM every year NCERT will conduct this exam ... From 13 state students will apply for this exam.... There are 55 seats for PCM students and 55 seats for CBZ student and 55 seats for arts ... RIE CEE exam will have 3 part first is English 40 marks 20 question and second is teaching aptitude 60 marks 30 question and third is reasoning questions 60 marks 30 questions there are total 160 marks exam ... 160 marks is converted into 60% and class 12 marks is converted into 40% after that in total 100% students get their rank...

College infrastructure is really bad and not welll maintained.
Hostel food is very bad and hostel is not well maintained

Admission:

The student should be 12th pass and should clear rie cee annual examination .The seats are according to the state distribution in various regional states. The application form is present at the official website of the institution .The admission process is quite smooth.

There was an exam named RIE CEE was conducted by the NCERT . Students get selected by their performance in this exam. Exam is not very difficult. There was three sections for which questions are asked. These are language, teaching aptitude and reasoning

The only way to take admission here is through Examination conducted by NCERT that is known as Rie cee which is conducted every year.The form fillup start in the month of May and examination took place in June July.

I liked the hostel, ragging free environment and the freedom
I liked the food and the snacks time. I like the campus

Dislikes

I didn't like how some students didn't care about the campus and threw garbage
I didn't like the sometimes slow internet

Admission:

The subjects which came were English grammar, SAT and some general knowledge questions along with teaching applitude, which was quite easy to solve. The Application forms can be available on the college site. If the applicant has better percentage then he/she has better chances of getting the seat because 40% of the total mark is taken from class 10 and 12th paper. There is reservation quota for candidates from Sc/St/obc group. After the results are out the selected students should check the site regularly for updates. The admission process took place quite smoothly

Little bit of examinations fees is more which is 1000 rupees around per semester

Admission:

State-wise and category-wise reservations are there. Total 50 seats. For Odisha 12, West Bengal 12, Bihar 8, Jharkhand 6, North East states 12. For every state, category-wise reserve seats are there. Like for General 6, OBC 3, SC 2, ST 1.

There are 5 RIE all over India . RIE Bhubaneswar consist 8 states and 1 union territories. Students from these states can take admission in RIE Bhubaneswar through written entrance examination. After qualifying entrance sum of percentage of 12th board examination result and entrance exam results calculated and merit list of students released. Reservation benefits available for SC , ST, PWD students. The application form and related details are available on the official website site of RIE before 3-4 month of examination.

These campus give me vibes which i was got from school like Housewise competition
Faculty were highly qualified and they also try to understand us.

Admission:

There are total 5 RIEs all over the India which among these Bhubaneswar is one. And i got selected in RIE Bhubaneswar. For the selection of new batches these Institute conduct entrance exam which has 60% weithage and 40% weightage from 12th board exam result. And who score highest or get top on their category he/she will get selection for the new batches. And out of 55,14 student from each quota like 14 from odisha, another 14 from Assam, like this. Out of 14 student from each quota has on the basis of caste. 7 student from general, 4 students from OBC, 2 from SC, and 1 from ST. And 1 from Pwd from each quota.
