The students become eligible for Placement in the 3rd Year of College. that is Semester 5. We have Accenture, Gartner, HCL, Avendus, and Deloitte to name a few that come for campus placements. The average package is of 10.4LPA. The highest that has gone is 36.5LPA. 95% of students get placements during campus placements. My plan after the degree is to prepare for civil service exams.
Students become eligible in their last sem. There are various companies like Myntra, Byjus, Tata et al which come for placement drives in Hindu. the average package range from 5 to 7 lakhs while some go as high as 25 lakhs per annum
Placement for political science department students is few. recently we get a proposal from the Amar Ujala newspaper but there is the least placement. ya, if you have very cool writing skills you can definitely get a benefit in terms of placements.
Even though many from my department generally don't prefer placements and go for UPSC and Masters. However there was one girl from my class who got placed in Oberoi. From the 3rd Year itself one can opt for placements. Disha is our Placement Cell and it's placement record is quite decent to say at least. Mostly for placements we have students from Commerce and Economics Marquee Companies like EY, DE Shaw, KPMG and Google recruit from our college. Highest Salary - 31 LPA ( an Economics student bagged the same) Average - 7.5 LPA

University of Delhi is one of the best and prestigious university in India. Many colleges affiliated to University of Delhi are the top colleges in India. for example - Hindu College, Miranda House, lady Shri Ram College, St. Stephen's College, Shri Ram College of commerce etc. The syllabus of Delhi University is the most concerned and UPSC oriented syllabus.
Merely considering the fact, a student seeks to do UPSC once she/he comes to DU,in hindu it's been a whole lot of experience in the same stuff and the same curriculum is been followed
I Chose this college because of the prestige attached to this college. I mean who hasn't heard of Hindu? It's a premier institution of this country, anyone who studies here should consider himself lucky.
