- The course structure was in detailed that covered all the aspects of data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- The hostels were clean with all the required facilities. The mess food was good and manageable.
- The facilities provide by the college were good
Dislikes
- The utensils in the hostel premises were not that well maintained. It would be better to carry your own utensils if you wish to cook.
Internships Opportunities:
For data science, many companies came for internships that offered pre placement offers as well for few. Top consulting firms such as Big4 also came for placements. Roles such as data science intern, business analyst, data analyst, etc were offered

At SCIT most of the roles were related to information security and BA for the ITBM course. In the DSDA specialization, the internships offered were mostly related to data science and data analytics. All companies were reputed.

3rd semester is the semester for which students become eligible for placement activities. Most of the students get PPOs in their internships themselves. in the year 2022, the highest stipend was 32lacs and the average package of nearby 10lpa. 100% of students were placed.

The internship is provided in the month of April for a period of 3 months. Most of the firms are key players in IT, telecom, and some from the FMCG sector. For early joiners and well-performing candidates in 1st year, the stipend goes up to 30k or more.

Yes we have internship as a part of our course were we go to a company and gain the domain experience.
Presently I’m in 1st year so I don’t have an experience of internship.
Some 50+ companies come for the placement and internship in which Big 4’s are also included.

The final placement of my batch was comparatively better for my batch. A good number of reputed companies visited specifically for the analytics area. The highest package offered was 33 LPA and the average package was around 10 LPA. Summer placement for the internship process is also good with a decent stipend amount. Cognizant, Genpact, EY, were some of the top players which recruited from our batch.
