Our college function under iit group and that's the reason the emba course quality at sjmsom is called to be the best across maharashtra.
The placement process of the college is well organized and the college has very experienced committee members to manage the college placement program.

Dislikes

We were disappointed for appointed some faculties who are not able to teach students effectively and in well mannered.
I have not went to hostel, but it was mainly due to covid - 19 but all i have heard is that it is not upto your expectations.

As already discussed, placements are one of the best in the country. Top MNCs come for recruitment, with an average salary ranging between 20 to 21 LPA. Students also participate in various corporate competitions, securing placements through that route as well.

Placement Experience:

Students are typically offered a Summer Internship at the start of their second year with the process happening way beforehand in the second term. Top companies like P&G, Google, JPMC, J&J, Marico, etc. visit the school every year with almost all of the batch getting placed in the SIP session of three days. All candidates get top offers from these companies. More details can be found in the placement report available on the SJMSOM website. SJMSOM has a 100% placement record for the entire batch and more organizations come every next year for picking the best students from the institute.

A college with the legacy of IIT Bombay and a great ROI

Placement Experience:

For summer placements, students get placed in the first semester itself. The students are placed before completion of the first semester, and the actual summer internships are from April to May and even June for people with 3 months of internships. The highest stipend for two months is Rs. 3.2 lakhs and the average stipend is more than Rs. 2 lakhs for two months. The final placements generally begin in the third semester. The highest package for the batch of 2020 was Rs. 32.8 lakhs CTC and avg. was Rs. 21 lakhs CTC. The placements are 100 percent in summers and finals as every student gets a job in a well-reputed firm. The companies' profiles vary right from the core supply chain to IT consulting and even the BFSI sector. Prominent companies on campus include Nestle, P&G, Colgate-Palmolive, Asian Paints, Marico, JP Morgan & Chase, Yes Bank, Kimberly Clark, Mondelez, etc. Many of the firms are giants in their own fields, and thus, there is also scope for international exposure.

Roi and good placement was main reason behind joining mba here. fee is comparatively on the lower side. Also iit tag is helpful if you are planning for further studies after mba. Annual placement is in the range of top b schools

Experiences in a MBA College

Remarks:

College management is quite sensible if you as me. But regarding academics, professors are quite strict. You should not cross them in the wrong way as far as studies go. Apart from that, they are quite supportive in other activities as well as during any crisis situations.
