The course of BBA is general for the first two years. During this course, you will have theoretical classes as well as two summer internship programs. As you enter your third year, you will have an idea of what fields interest you- Finance, Marketing, HR, operations, etc. You can then choose your electives for the third year accordingly. The college gives you enough time to choose your subjects according to your interests. Here is a breakdown of the assessments that happen in one semester at ibs: first two months of the semester: Classes+ MCQ-based questions Third month: Classes + mid sem exams Fourth month: Classes + group projects submissions Fifth month: End semester exams. This can be quite stressful at first. time management is they key here :)

I chose this course cause I want to start my own fashion firm, and I want to have handover management and administration. the curriculum covers almost every aspect of business administration. we have 7 to 8 courses each semester and 6 semesters in total. though the syllabus is lengthy, it is interesting. there are 4 exams for each semester, one of them usually an assignment. the exams are pretty easy to pass.

Coming to placements I am studying in 1st year now so I don't have any placements now, but after completing my 1st year they have made a mandatory to do internships in companies to know they're strategic to marketing. 95.5% have placed last time my seniors told me about it.
I am still in the first year so I am not sure about placements and stuff. But some companies have come for the final year and 8 of them got selected. Not sure about the price and packages. Third years have campus placements available.
I took the course because of its independent curriculum from Osmania. the faculty-student is very high a 40:1 ratio. The teachers for the most part are really good at their subjects. Exams were easy to pass and always on time.
The top recruiters are enlisted in the college's placement process with lucrative amount of salary. Some of them are Wipro, Zomato, Oracle, TCS etc. The highest national package offered was Rs 15.89 LPA in the annum of 2020.
Top MNC's came for the placements during the week. 85% of the students got placed in my batch and the highest package offered at that time was around Rs.402000. For the BBA stream, various roles were offered such as Business Analyst, Sales Consultant, Marketing Associate.
There was no group discussion but based on my standard XII aggregate scores, I was shortlisted and invited for interview. During the interview, I was asked in-depth questions about my career and academic goals. I was also asked about my extra-curricular interests.
IBS Hyderabad is a decent B-School. It has a brand image and is well recognized in the industry. The institute offers good internships and placement opportunities. IBS Hyderabad placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 8 LPA. While the highest international CTC received by the students this year was INR 53 LPA.
IBS has a good faculty base. Most of the faculties have good corporate experience. The teaching methodology is case-study-based.
One drawback of IBS Hyderabad is the huge batch size. It’s difficult for students to get good placement opportunities.
When considering joining a B-School, it's important to look at various factors to determine if it's the right fit for you. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect from IBS Hyderabad:
At IBS Hyderabad, you will experience a unique and transformative journey in your MBA education. This college is not bound by traditional discipline-based curriculum but instead provides you with the opportunity to develop your skills and become a better working professional. The journey can be divided into three phases: Realization, Launchpad, and Accomplishment.
During the first few months, you will have realizations about the challenges of college life, such as average quality food and poor facilities. However, you have the option to either complain about these issues or try to adjust and make the best of the situation. Choosing the latter will allow you to turn IBS Hyderabad into your second home, where you will build relationships with classmates and make your studies enjoyable.
In the third semester, after completing a summer internship, you will experience a completely different environment. The college challenges you to improve and perform better in all areas of your life. With competitive placements and classmates, you will push yourself to reach your full potential.
Finally, in the Accomplishment phase, you will achieve remarkable things and develop friendships that will last a lifetime. You will also be challenged to try new things, such as a stand-up act, which will help you grow as a person.
In conclusion, anyone can join IBS Hyderabad regardless of their background or scores. However, to fully take advantage of the opportunities available, it is important to be willing to work hard and change yourself. The college will give you what you contribute to it, so it is up to you to decide if IBS Hyderabad is worth your investment.
To make an informed decision, you need to analyze your future prospects. Consider where you see yourself two years from now, or, if money is a primary concern for you, estimate how much you will earn in two years.
The average package offered by IBS Hyderabad is 6 lakhs. However, if you have a couple of years of experience and are in the top 10th percentile of your batch, there is a good chance you could earn 7-8 lakhs. In this case, enrolling in IBS Hyderabad would be a viable option if you don't see yourself earning a similar salary within two years.
Furthermore, you should evaluate your ability to gain admission to a better business school such as an IIM. If you have the potential to do so, it would be a wise decision to invest your efforts into pursuing this opportunity. However, if you really believe that you are not in that league, enrolling in IBS Hyderabad would still be a viable option, as discussed in the second paragraph.
In pursuing an MBA at IBS Hyderabad, a case-based study methodology is utilized for teaching. The professor will provide a case for every class, and students must prepare for the case by reviewing relevant chapters and linking the concepts to the practical example discussed in the case. During class, the professor will manage the discussions on the case and students will present their viewpoints, which may be accepted or countered by the professor. The professor will guide the discussions to ensure the correct understanding of concepts is reached. In some instances, concepts will be taught by the professor. However, the college encourages self-study and does not spoon-feed the students.
A wide range of student clubs is available on campus, covering various fields. Each club is managed by students with a professor acting as a mentor. The clubs are responsible for conducting various activities such as quizzes, treasure hunts, guest lectures, movie screenings, sports competitions, and more. These clubs provide students with exposure to event management.
Annual events include a festival in January, where all clubs are responsible for preparing different events, and an annual sports fest organized by the sports club, where students from different colleges participate.
IBS Hyderabad offers a vibrant campus life with facilities such as a resort-like environment, two food messes, two cafeterias, an all-night cafeteria, and a well-equipped gym. The clubs schedule events during weekends and the college have a bus service to the city. On weekdays, buses run only in the evenings while on weekends they run throughout the day. Food festivals are regularly organized in the food messes, and there are many small dhabas and restaurants near the campus to cater to students' taste buds.
