ICFAI Business School was established in the year 2004 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. IBS, Dehradun is affiliated to and is a constituent institute of ICFAI University.

IBS Dehradun offers full-time 2-years MBA course in its academic curriculum.

Applicants who have passed Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks are eligible to get admission in the MBA course.
Selection of the candidates is done based on their merit in IBSAT conducted by ICFAI University.
Candidates who have a valid score in these exams CAT/NMAT/GMAT/XAT can also apply.
However, the final selection is based on the performance in Micro Presentation and Personal Interview.
Candidates could register themselves either online or offline before filling up the application form. The application form is filled online only using the id and password generated after the registration.

IBS Dehradun MBA Eligibility

The minimum requirement for MBA is as follows:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in English medium.
Candidates must have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
In case candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation then they have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score.

IBS Dehradun MBA Selection Process

IBS Dehradun will shortlist candidates based on the IBSAT/CAT/NMAT/GMAT/XAT score.
The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Micro Presentation and PI rounds.
The final selection for admission will depend upon the Entrance Exam Score, Past Academic Record, Micro Presentation and PI.
Lastly, the institute will publish a merit list containing the names of all selected candidates.

NOTE - Those who have a valid score in CAT/NMAT/GMAT/XAT are exempted from IBSAT.

How to Apply for IBS Dehradun?

On purchase of the application form, you will receive an application number and password.

IBS Dehradun Scholarships

IBS Dehradun awards 3 types of scholarships to the meritorious candidates based on their past academic record i.e. percentage in Graduation and current semester-wise performance in MBA. There is also a scholarship of INR 2 Lac for each student on the basis of IBSAT exam.

At first, there was a selection process in which you have to fill out the form and give the IBSAT test. Everything is perfect in terms of admission and education. The admission process was easy. Well-certified college with a large lush green campus with all the facilities provided. Highly qualified professors with a minimum experience of 15-20 years.

Admission:

I gave IBSAT exam and cleared it. They gave free sessions for qualified candidates so that they can give their GDPI confidently. I availed those sessions, prepared myself, and gave my interview. I got 81.5% , I got the acceptance letter from IBS Dehradun first as it was my first preference, and later on got an acceptance letter from IBS Hyderabad. I selected IBS Dehradun because of my financial preferance.

The admission process was quite easy. After clearing IBSAT you have to clear GD and PI which is held at the Hyderabad campus. You are awarded points after every stage according to your performance & based on your total points campus is allotted to you. Better the points, better the allotted campus.

Admission:

The selection process consisted of an aptitude round followed by a Group discussion and a personal interview in the next round if selected in the first round. GD and PI both happen on the same day in Hyderabad Campus. They have shortlisted the students on behalf of the Aptitude test, GD and PI. And then after getting selected we were in for the admission process. At that time, I had not applied to any other colleges. The admission process was very smooth.

Admission:

The selection process consisted of an aptitude round followed by a Group discussion if selected in the first round. After GD, there is a PI round. GD and PI happen on the very same day. I am from the General category. I had also applied for NMIMS and SIBM, Pune but their cutoff is very competitive and is among the top MBA Schools.

Admission:

I applied only to IBS Mumbai and I have not availed of any quota. The minimum marks to apply was 50% above on your degrees and 10th and 12th and the minimum age to apply is 20. The admission process was really smooth even though it was online due to the Covid situation. There was a counselling day for all the IBS aspirants and we got all the information as to how to prepare ourselves for the GD/PI and crucial data was provided such as the placement packages and companies that come to the placement campus.

Admission:

I found this college via Time where I prepared for CAT exams. The application form costs around 2000?. Then there was an Aptitude test. After that they held an awareness class about how the GD and PI will be done along with college virtual tour. They shortlisted students depending on the marks from the aptitude test. The shortlisted students were called to Hyderabad for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Admission:

Ibsat exam was conducted. After clearing that we had to sit for the GDPI round. And then after getting clear we were in for the admission process. The minimum criteria were getting 50% and above in your graduation program. The admission process was very much smooth.
