Government Home Science College, Chandigarh offers B.Sc. (Honours) degree course in Home Science and Fashion Designing at the undergraduate level.

Government Home Science College, Chandigarh Application Process
Candidates can apply for admission to Government Home Science College, Chandigarh in both offline and online mode. Once the form is submitted, they will have to wait for the notification of the release of merit list and other processes.
Offline Mode:
- Candidates can collect the application form by hand from the college campus or from Head office on Payment of requisite fees.
- Application form can also be downloaded from the college website.
- They can also send an application in the Name of “Director, Government Home Science College, Chandigarh” along with the Demand Draft, mentioning his/her address in detail so that the prospectus can be sent by Post.
- Demand Draft should be in the favour of “Government Home Science College, Chandigarh” payable at “Chandigarh”.
- All the duly filled in application form should be submitted/sent to the College head office, along with the documents.
Online Mode:
- Visit the official website of the college and click on “Online Admission Portal”.
- Register first, by entering his/her name, mobile number and email address.
- A password will be sent to candidates’ registered email address.
- They have to log in using his/her mobile number and password.
- Fill up the form completely by entering Personal details such as - Gender, Date of Birth and Parent's Name, Address, City, state, and Pin code.
- Select the course and enter the details of his/her Academic Records.
- Candidates are required to upload a recent passport size photograph and scanned signature.
- They must submit the application fee through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking or through e-challan.
- Click on “Submit” to submit the application form.
- After complete submission of the application form along with the application fee, take a print out of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
Candidates whose name will appear in the merit list have to report to the college within the prescribed date. All the successful candidates will be informed by post/email. They have to deposit their fees and get their documents verified within the prescribed dates and for securing admission. Failure to report in time may lead to cancellation of selection.
