About SEC
Shekhawati Engineering College has been established in 2003 by Satwic Jeevanshala Trust, which was established in the year 1956. It is affiliated to University of Rajasthan and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
- It is situated at Dundlod on the main Sikar – Jhunjhunu road (Sikar – Loharu Highway)
- College offers undergraduate engineering degree program in four disciplines with an annual intake of 240.
- The admissions are done through the RPET/JEE system and under the existing norms the college has three categories: (i) RPET seats 70% (ii) JEE seats 15% (iii) Management seats 15%
Research:
- CYROGENIC Research Center-
- It focuses on to understand scientific concert for students in the campus
- Encourage the dissemination of information concerning low temperature processes and techniques
- Increase public and Industrial awareness of the usefulness of cryogenic technology.
- Promote research and development of low temperature processes by meeting, professional contacts, reports and publications

- It aims at increasing the skill sets of the faculty and students of College which will lead to improvement in quality of technical education will help us in increasing the employability of students with quality education

The previous batch had the highest package of around 35 LPA. This year had been the best year for ECE SEC so far as many students are offered PPOs with the highest package of 32 LPA. The placements have been improving these years. SEC is the hub for all cultural and technical events. All the big stars visit SEC on a regular basis as normal people. The campus crowd is amazing as there are people from all around the world. SEC has an open culture with no restrictions; however, bad things are prohibited. The campus is 100% FULLY ECO GREEN, and it is the only place in Rajasthan where you can breathe fresh air and enjoy the beauty of nature. Different kinds of animal and plant species are present on our campus. All the extracurricular activities can be done here. The food provided on the campus is good. Proper hygiene is maintained, and an unlimited supply of food is offered to the students if required. During my tenure, I didn't face any big problems, but some genuine problems are there. The campus is so large that students have to travel long through personal cycles. We also have a college bus for overcoming this problem.
Admission:
Good environment is very calm and clean if you are self learner it is great place to go for, as you need no one to guide you. Bad - Almost everything. You will get no exposure over here which is key to build your personality. Studies have below average standard and colleagues are not career focused.

In 2007 management and principal is very good but after change of management in 2010 they are totaly think about money not about student career.
