- For B.Tech, interested candidates should have completed 10+2 with 45% marks having taken up Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

SGT Institute of Engineering and Technology offers B.Tech degree at the UG level in 5 specializations, with a total intake of 420 students.
Candidates who have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Science / Bio-Technology / Biology as an optional subject, with 45% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed Diploma with 45% marks are eligible to apply for the second year of B.Tech through Lateral Entry.
B.Tech admission will be done on the basis of JEE Main score. B.Tech Lateral Entry seats will be allotted on the basis of LEET scores. Counselling process for both will be conducted by HSTES.

Candidates can fill out the application form in the online mode only. The following are to be followed to apply:
- Go to the official website of the Haryana State Technical Education Society.
- Click on the “New Candidate Register Here” button.
- Select the appropriate course and fill the details.
- Login with the credentials sent to you and fill the application form accurately.
- Application fee to be paid is INR 500 and can be paid by cash or through online payment.
Note: Online payments can be done through credit card/debit card. Cash payments can be done by generating e-challan and the payment can be made at any computerized branches of Axis or PNB banks.

- its too long to travel from eblock to other blocks. In summer, u have to build up your energy to move from eblock to other block.
- placements are not good according to the university acedmics level to gain best lpa.

Eligibilty is that you have to score more than 60 percents in 12th exams, If your are going first time then you will go to c-block for the application form and outside the c block you find the fees counter to pay the courses fess. Ther is no exams are going on in engineering batch , i think exams are conducted for the students of medical batch. The admission process is going very smoothly

The admission process was smooth and good, as their many faculty members and experts clear the doubts in the mind of mine and my family. We took a tour of a college campus, classes, labs, grounds, etc the infrastructure was very nice and attractive.

Firstly I gave RPET - Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test then after result declaration, gone through a counselling session and this college was allotted to me as per my priorities. Then I went to college shows them the counselling receipt, they then provided me the necessary forms. Then I have submitted the admission fee and got admitted to the institution.

I got admission on basis of marks obtain in class 12 or diploma. I came in college campus and i applied here and after that i got admission based on merit list. It was an very easy procedure. Everything was very fine

Our college is a government college . It's admission is done through the UPSEE examination conducted by AKTU every year in the month of April. The results are declared in the month of June and counseling starts from July . Students who get their desired branch through counseling are asked for reporting to college for payment of fees and verification of documents. The first two weeks are induction program and studies start from month of August.
