RVSCET offers a three-year MCA and two-year M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering. Candidates with B.Tech/ B.E degrees in CSE/IT/ECE/EEE or any other branch can apply for M. Tech. program. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics in 10+2 level can apply for the MCA course.

- Frolic is the sports event in which the teams are made according to the departments. making it a tough competition.

- Campus ground isn't well maintained. some areas are hilly some are digged.

The admission process was offline. forms has to be filled up which cost 1000rs as registration. application form is available on the main building of the college in 2nd floor. The admission fee was 10,000rs. admission is open till half of the 1st semester classes begin. Reservations are available on the university basis and by the government.

- The environment of the college is good. Greenery can be seen everywhere and at the time of evening the hostellers use to play in the ground.
- Facilities of the department are much more cooperative and helps in every difficulties.
Dislikes
- There's only one counter in the fee counter which takes long time to submit the fees and sometimes it's 1/2 day
Admission:
The first step to take admission in RVS COLLEGE of engineering and technology, Jamshedpur is that you have to register with a 1000rs fee Eligibility for the course is more than 60% in your boards exam. You can find all the process in administrative department. Then a sum of 10,000rs has to be submitted as a registration fees which is refundable at the time of CLC. Every other course has a scholarship benefit but there is no scholarship for Computer science department. On the basic of my 12th grade marks I availed 35% scholarship on my yearly tution fee. The scholarship percentage will depend upon the performance of your year wise performance in the college. Each percentage is valid for 1 year. Admission process in this college is too quick. Examination are conducted semester wise for University and 2 internal exams of 20 each are conducted by the college for which the best will be choosen. To control the students in the college they use heavy fine system for any unusual activities.

- Hostel meal is not up to the mark quantity and quality is not good.
- Fee count has four counter by it only open onen at a time.

I got admission through jharkhand combined entrance compitition examination board . We I got tuition fee waiver seat. It means government will give my tuition fee. There is site called JCECEB from there you can know all details for application form, dates and all.

- Fests and function helds regularly in the campus. That maintain the mental environment of students as there is very stress in btech and many cources
Dislikes
- Hostel facility is worse. Many student regularly visit docs and lead to lay down in health
- Infrastructure is not so well. The amount of money college is taking must have to work on building and infrastructure so that to look and good university
Admission:
The college management should focus on this ground and it will attract students towards the college Faculty - The seniors teachers are ok but the take very less classes and the Junior teachers are not muss collified Or experienced so it lags there . Internal exams and mid exams - Mostly the exams are delayed due to seminars and fests in the university and it makes the students to study for 2 or three exams at a same time. Class cleaning and management- The buildings are not renovated till they are been constructed so it not attract much students in case of infrastructure. But overall in the field of academic the college is ok and one of the reputed colleges of jamsedpur. Raging is also not there juniors and seniors study with unity.
