About Government Autonomous College
Government Autonomous College was established in the year 1960. The College was originally affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar with subject affiliation of all major subjects in the faculties of Arts and Science. After the establishment of Berhampur University in 1967 in the South Zone of Orissa, the College was affiliated to this University under the nomenclature of Government College, Phulbani.
The College was selected as a Study Center of Indira Gandhi National Open University in 1989-90. Support services for students like N.C.C., N.S.S., Red Cross, SC / ST Pre Employment Coaching Centre, Project Genesis Training facility (INFOSYS) are available to cater to the needs of the students.

The cut off are above 60%.the application process is easy and is should be contact with sams of the college and data should be collected.and application process are easy to apply and is calculated and added to the college.

Admission:
Admission process is so easy. If you have scored more than 75% in your 12th then you are eligible for the subject. You can find applications at SAMS odisha. In semester exams, it's a 3 hour exam and had only 4 section. Each section holding 10 questions, where you have to answer only 8 questions for the section A,B and C and only 4 questions of section D

- Campus life is good every required thing will provided.
- Faculty were dam good as they were carrier oriented of their students and were help you in each phases of your college life.
Dislikes
- Hygiene is not so good at it's way some time
Admission:
Eligibility of this course needed a valid +2 certificate. For application form,application fees, and application dates is from higher education department of Odisha portal, for more information contact sams. No reservations is there. The frequency and timming of exams are of 6th sem, you have to appear each semester exam with an mid term(internal exam), practical exam, and theory exam.. The exams are easily handled by student if you have attended the class regularly then the exams will also be easy for you because each and every lecture helps a lot and are very supportive.. Everything thing is fine in admission process.

This is one of the best colleges in the bhudh and Kandhamal districts. A student can take admission on the basis merit list. A student goes through the same website and can apply for the course admission of hid choice. the dates are confirmed after the 12th result is declared. for the sc/st category minimum percentage require 45%.andd the other cast is on a general basis.

This college provide a platform to a student where they can explore all the study fields under the guidance of the honorable and experienced teachers. Also, the college provide a huge range of curricular fields in which a student can participate.

I completed my M.Sc Life Sciences from Government Autonomous College, Phulbani. It was a memorable period of time for me, the facilities were pretty good and the faculty always engaged in helping us accel in our career with the help of their guidance. The college infrastructure is also quite good.
