Prathyusha Engineering College, Thiruvallur was founded by Shri P. Raja Rao in the year 2001 with an aim to promote engineering education along with quality technical knowledge. PEC offers Engineering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Admissions to B.E program are done on the basis of merit of the qualifying exam and Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counselling.
For Lateral Entry admissions, candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
All post-graduation admissions are conducted through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or Consortium Examination.
The minimum eligibility requirement for B.E is 10+2 in Science stream and for PG programs, a relevant degree from a recognized university is required.

The institute is spread over a 450 acre eco-friendly campus and is affiliated to Anna University. It was ranked at 5th place amongst the 497 engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu in the year 2017-18. It was accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC and all its programmes are accredited by NBA.

For B.Tech Admissions, Candidates should have passed HSc examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Minimum marks scored in PCM together should be at least 50% (45% in case of backward classes)

Visit the official website of TNEA and click on the application link.
Enter name, mobile number, e-mail id and all the other necessary details.
OTP and User ID will be sent to candidates registered mobile number.
Using this User ID and password step up in the last step, candidates have to login to fill out the application form.
The candidates have to fill-in all the personal details in the application form.
Next step is to pay the examination fees which can be paid online or offline using Demand Draft.
Next, the candidates have to submit the parents family income for scholarship and other academics and personal details asked for.
After finally filling out the form and successful submission, the candidates have to take a print out of the filled application form.

The ambience and infrastructure is very good and pleasant in nature
The gardening plants make us feel fresh even in the evening .

Dislikes

They don't allow own transport to come to clg.
Lunch is mandatory for the college students.

Admission:

I am an MQ student. With the cut-off - of 125.5 I don't pay any donation. Instead, my tution fee is 25000 more than the tuition fee. For sc / st there is a 7.5 reservation quota. And for FG they reduce 25000 in the overall fees

The college campus is more peaceful and infrastructure of the college is very good and a new block is being renovated for new courses
I like the syllabus of the course I've chosen it gives prior knowledge about computers and technologies

Dislikes

I don't like their buses as it's too old and it's not in a good condition

Admission:

Your mark in the 12th exam should be more than 350 to join the high-end courses. I registered through anna University counseling and they provided me this college. After the approval, the college management contacted me and requested a visit to the college as they provided information about their infrastructure and other amenities. All the application forms and application dates are provided by the management. The exams were conducted once in three weeks and the difficulty level of the exams is average so all the students can benefit in their final semester examinations.

The environment and atmosphere of the college is great.
The infrastructure and the building are good and the teachers interaction with students are great

Dislikes

The food quality is below average. And the lunch is compulsory for everyone.
The college bus have more vibration. Not good for long travel and distance.

Admission:

I took admission through tnea counseling for bachelors of engineering in computer science. I got 151 cut-off with a good percentage. There is no entrance exam for the college admission. I got the first graduate scholarship.

There is no relaxation like culturals and any celebration.
Same variety foods were provided there is no more other items.

Tamilnadu government councelling fills out applications.The remaining applications are processed on a merit basis ,with forms available for purchase at the college itself. The application fee is Rs100.

The eligibility for the course during that time was based on a percentage of marks obtained in maths, physics and chemistry. Under Anna University counselling I took this college with the cut-off Mark of 173. There are also people who joined on direct admission.
