PSCMR College of Engineering & Technology is SKPVV Hindu High Schools Committee’s latest contribution to the cause of education. The institute was established in the year of 2008.
- The Committee is a non-profit academic organization that had been managing very successfully schools and arts & science colleges from 2008, then extended its educational service activities to technology education area, and that led to the starting that year, of Potti Sriramulu & chalavadi mallikarjuna Rao College of Engineering & Technology -- almost the first such institute with in the Vijayawada city limits.
- The college is affiliated to JNTU (K) made a modest beginning with an intake of 240 students, 60 each in the branches of ECE, CSE, EEE and IT. MBA course was added the next year, that is, in 2008.
- The campus is ideally located in the heart of the city and easily accessible from any part of the city and the suburbs, thanks to the frequent city bus services.

- Apart from this the library is also accessed to ‘EKALAVYA’ channel to download the lectures of eminent professors and scholars from IITs and IIMs.The library is open between 8AM and 8PM.

The admission process is rather simple. The admission process goes through with the entrance exams we took. The rank we get determines the college and fees so the admission process is rather simple and convenient. however, the management admission without any entrance exam is somewhat difficult. Eligibility of the course means each course has its eamcet rank limit. Based on eamcet rank , we have to took the courses. After getting rank try to reach college and consult the management to join in their college. Who comes first they provide some benifits also like they decrease the amount of course fee like that. Who didn't get rank in eamcet, they have to pay entire fees based on course.

Admission process If you are willing to join in this college with an Eamcet rank of 50 to 1L it could be one of the best colleges with that ranks. It starts with an seat confirmation fee of 500/- then you can get our college file . Then after they will be giving you the councelling date to appear. Then choose this college

I qualified for the Ecet exam and I got the rank. After that, I preferred my college as first in the web options. I got a seat in my college and submitted my certificates to college management and then I joined the college which started classes on that date.

To opt for this college there is no entrance exam but our eamcet rank will be needed in case you didn't write eamcet or you didn't get the seat you can directly join in college in the management quota There are some reservations for the eamcet ranking students and by according to their score they will allocate you different courses in different branches

I wrote the EAMCET entrance examination and through the marks obtained, I applied to my desired college by comparing my cut-off. I went directly to the college and completed the application process and it was held by one of the placement team members.

The process is okay while joining the college I took the emcat entrance exam while getting to the preferred college the process of counseling is slow and needs to be completed quickly because there are 3 phases to selecting the college so try to complete the process as fast as possible.

I have taken eamcet exam so that based on my rank I got this college.There is a need of some improvements regarding the hostel facilities and provide more internship and placement opportunities to students from the 1st year onwards so that they can improve their knowledge and skills .
