Academic Requirement:
Indian Boards:
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional, from a recognized Board, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects * Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams.
A level:
- Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science or any technical vocational subject* as optional subject in the ‘A’ Levels and English in the ‘AS’ / IGCSE / GCSE
- Minimum grade required is an average of ‘D’ grade in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects * Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams
IB:
- English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science or any technical vocational subject* as optional subject (preferably Mathematics and Physics at HL level) ‘

Likes
- The things i appreciate the most are the environment in my college, development of the campus and the city overall. The college library has all the books readily available to us.
- The campus of MIT is a small town in itself we can get everything inside the campus itself without having to step out. The campus spreads across 300+ acres with unimaginable views.
Dislikes
- The major aspect of MIT that needs improvement is the student teacher realtionship development. Tho the professors are helpful and understanding but sometimes they lack the interest of understanding a students problem.
- Even when there are many companies coming in for placement most of them are not interested in the harware background engineering but on the software background which makes it very unbiased.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My curriculum contains more about how engines are designed and how the thermodynamics of whole system works which inclined me more towards this course. The curriculum provides us with hands of experineces in labs which allows us to get in depth knowledge of how everything works. The course should be more focused on how the exact working of the vehicles rather than teaching us about the maths theorems which have no real world use. The exams specifically internals are conducted within a week's gap between them which makes it very difficult for us to prepare and learn both at the same time. The course should focus more on the learning aspect rather than the scoring in the eams aspect.
Likes
- All required facilities available and provided to everyone
- Lots of efforts put into sports field and grounds
Dislikes
- Some rooms in hostels are smaller and more congested than others
- Distance between hostels and education blocks is a lot
Course Curriculum Overview:
The automobile engineering course which they are providing was really good with a lot of student projects. The student projects and clubs like f1 prepare us to face practical problems and work in a team. The course could be a bit more concentrated to the automobile core and keep themselves updated with real life changes in the field. The difficulty of the exam is set perfectly for the students with an average gap of 2 months between the exams.
Likes
- Course is very well planned and there is little to no academic burden on students
- Student projects, technical and nontechnical clubs always keep students engaged
Dislikes
- The hostels for boys are too far from the academic building so it gets tiring to walk continously for a long time .
- The food in the canteens is good but the quality of the food served suddenly starts plummeting for a week or so
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course is well structured and curriculum is divided into groups of subjects that are easy to study. The faculty student ratio might be less but the faculty are all doctorates and hence know a lot in detail about the subject matter and course content. Term exams happen twice in one academic year and they are fairly easy

- I liked the number of technical clubs in the college
- I liked the social life and the environment of the college.
Dislikes
- The campus is build on a hill so we have climb the hill to go to class
- No vehicle is allowed in the campus , only cycles
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was insterested in automobiles since my childhood that's why I choose the course.In our class there are 86 students and 1 teacher for every subject.The faculty here are well qualified, most of then have a PHD in their respective field. We have 2 exams per semester , midterm and end term exams. The difficulty is moderate.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
A little bit on the expensive side but manageable. For me, I had to pay a total of US$ 32,000 over the course of 4 years as tuition fees. I had to pay in US$ as I was an NRI category student. The hostel fees on the other had was about INR 1,00,000 for an A/C sharing room and about INR 1,50,000 for a single A/C room.
