A real aspect of a state government college

It is an autonomous college so the control of everything happening in college is in the hands of the faculties.
A friendly atmosphere between the faculties and students

Dislikes

The ground is not up to the requirements
There is scarcity of electricity in the area

Placement Experience:

If talking about core then we can see placements for CSE,IT,EE,EL meaning if you are from these departments you can get placements in jobs related to your departments and for CE and ME you are not seeing placements in jobs related to your departments but you get placements in jobs related to management and business sectors. The students are eligible for placements from seventh semester. Many companies have visited our college including PSUs like BEL, TCIL etc and many private companies like Ittiam, TCS, etc. Percentage of students getting placed is about 80% overall. My plans after getting degree is to go for higher studies.

The campus of knit is of 100 acre lust green campus ,the infrastructure is also good but not that much .
The faculties of knit are very much experienced many of the professors had done their phd from prestigious old IITs .

Dislikes

Not more spots to explore the college and sports facilities are also not good .
There is too much space too use it but are not used.

Placement Experience:

The placement in tech branches like Computer science engineering , Informations Technology engineering and Electronics engineering are good but in core branches like Mechanical engineering, civil engineering and electrical engineering is not tha good . Companis like TCS ,capgemini , wipro ,flipkart ,amzon and many more are come in the college. Placement percentage is about 60 percent.

There is good faculties. Different extra curriculum are conducted for the improvent of skills you are interested.

Placement Experience:

From Placement Scenario Btech Student get most opportunities than MCA. But there is some placement are done from MCA. Average Package is about 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Ittiam etc visit for the placement.

I like that professors here do not force much to attend every class so student have time to selfstudy.
Good coding culture. Every student from it department do coding.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is so bad not well maintained.
Hostels are not much good not well maintained.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for the placement. Most most common company is TCS. Which tale the students in bulk about 80 students every year. The overall average package is 4.5 lpa and for computer science it is 7lpa

There are many councils in our college which is sports council, photography and fine arts etc which provides students to participate in other activities.
The faculty and seniors is very supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

The placement of college is not transparent.
Thr mess food is not good and lack of hygiene.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good which is almost 6-7lpa for cs,it branch Almost 70%student got placed in campus.The highest package is 82lpa in bloomburg.The company visit here is TCS,Wipro, Infosys and many other small companies.

Likes

Hostel life was vibrant, everyone stayed united and supportive, creating a strong sense of community.
The mess food was surprisingly good, consistently meeting expectations and offering variety.

Dislikes

While teachers were knowledgeable, they often didn't give students much importance, leading to a lack of enagement.
The college security was inadequate; anyone could enter without much scrutiny, compromising safety.

Placement Experience:

Companies Visited : TCS, Step2Gen, Cedcoss, Tech Mahindra, Infosys,Capgemini, Softlix, Tudip and Telus international etc. Offers Made: Out of 60 MCA students, more thant 50 were placed. Highest Package : Rs.1 crore at Goldman Sachs for Btech student, MCA Highest Package was Rs.10 LPA Average Package : Rs.3.6 LPA for MCA students. Profiles Offered: Techinical, Sales and Marketing etc. Plans After Degree : Seeking a job and currently employed in a good position with a decent package.

Companies like TCS , Google, Microsoft, Wipro, Amazon , Flipkart, messo Zomato etc comes to Kamala nehru institute of technology sultanpur and provide placement. The average placement is about 100000 per annum. Highest package is 400000 per annum.

The best thing I liked about the college is they are true about placements and everything like they don't fake placements profile unlike other colleges.
The second best thing I would say is that the seniors are damn supportive and skilled too,and also here you learn morals and ethics of professional life.

Dislikes

The things I dislike about the college is the location,it is like situated aside gomti river,so we are surrounded by lush green forests,though it's good for some people.
The second thing is also connected with the first one,here you don't get convence after 9 or 10 so either wait for hours or drop your plan.

Placement Experience:

After the 7th semester students are eligible for on campus placements and for off campus it's as per the company there's no restriction from college. TCS Ninja ,Wipro,Infosys,Mahindra tech,etc Number of offers made this year were something 200. The percentage of placed students every year is something 70-80 percent for all branches in mass recruitment. But for good job profiles it's something 20-30%. Highest package offered this year was 12 lakhs and the lowest was 3.5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is to prepare for PCS

Main city Sultanpur is far away from college auto is not available quickly

In 3rd year we do intership with different companies We start learning coding from 1 and 2 year Companies like TCS Infosys Wipro do visit here with good packages My plans are governed job so I prepare for GATE exam

Green campus environment. A place which brings you closer to nature.
The basic facilities are provided in the campus itself.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not up to the mark as they should be.
The infrastructure of the college needs an upgrade.

Placement Experience:

The students of 7th and 8th semester are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, iffco, Coca cola visit the campus. The highest package was around 20lpa and average was 4 lpa. The placement percentage is very low (30% approx.) and needs to be improved. Most of the students appear for gate and other government examinations.

In terms of placement statistics among KNIT Sultanpur, IET Lucknow and BIET Jhansi, IET Lucknow is the best. They are all government colleges but IET Lucknow has an advantage; It is located in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh and offers vast opportunities and exposure. JSS Noida is equally good; it is one of the most prestigious private colleges located in Delhi NCR.

IES has a better placement record as compared to the other colleges.
It is also located in the capital city of U.P.

JSS Noida:

JSS is affiliated to UPTU. Most students from this institute get placed due to its good location.
In the Delhi NCR region, JSS is a reputed private college.
The highest CTC offered at JSS is almost the same as IET.

If you have a choice between the two then go for IET Lucknow since It is a government college located in a prime location with an affordable fee structure. According to placements, the ranking order of the institute will be JSS Noida > IET > KNIT Sultanpur > BIET Jhansi.

The placement scenario for MCA is not considered as good as it is for B.Tech students in KNIT Sultanpur. The thing that matters the most is your consistency in working during MCA.

My brother has recently graduated from IET and based on his experience, I can suggest you a few points:

In IET Lucknow, MCA student sits with B.Tech students for the placements. It becomes important to see how better you are when compared to the skills of B.Tech students.
As compared to the other two, IET Lucknow is the best as it had more exposure because of its city. The city gives you better options for training.
It is near AKTU, so if there are any new updates, you get the information early. Of all the colleges affiliated with AKTU, IET is ranked No. 1. It is an autonomous college as well.

It is important to acknowledge that MCA placements are in no comparison with that of B.Tech but still it gives better exposure as compared to any Government College. BIET Jhansi does not offer MCA, so there’s no comparison with it.
