GNIT, Haryana B.Tech & Lateral Entry Admission 2024
GNIT, Haryana offers four year degree course of B.Tech with 4 specializations. The total intake of the course is 420. Lateral Entry admissions into second year of B.Tech are also offered to eligible candidates.
75% of admissions to both the courses are conducted through centralized admission couselling on the basis of entrance test scores by HSTES. Remaining 25% of admissions come under management quota to be filled through institute level counselling.
- B.Tech candidates need JEE Main scores while Lateral Entry candidates should have LEET scores.
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the four as optional subjects - Chemistry/ Bio-Technology /Computer Science /Biology.

- Lateral Entry admissions candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology of minimum three years duration from an AICTE approved institution.

- In case seats remain vacant after state and institute level counselling then college will invite applications for left over seats to be filled on the basis of entrance test scores or marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

GNIT also offers comprehensive degree of M.Tech in three specializations. For each specialization the institute offers 18 seats. Interested candidates should possess valid GATE scores or equivalent to apply for the course.

My college name isGurunanak institute of technology in this I have chosen bachelor in technology computer science and engineering because I have to passion to become a computer engineering and that's why I have chosen computer engineering in my college and I have no quota so I m basically general cast so I have passed out all criteria of my college so I can easily take admission in this college if you take wb-Jee entrance exam then you get 120 marks in pre and then you can qualify for mains and you will pass out the mains exam then you can get counselling and you have to choose a college so this is a procedure to take admission in this college and there was an age limit due to the entrance exam it will be 30 max admission criteria was very difficult if you are not eligible for counselling them you will directly not able to take admission in college and for computer engineering, you have computer science in your secondary school syllabus it will be helpful for forwarding study.

Entrance exam is CET. It is polytechnic college. After result you are alloted a date for counselling. In the councelling you choose college and then go to alloted for documents verification and admission confirmation. All the process are online. Reason to choose this college 1. It's location 2. Out of huge competition out the world of colleges I have been suggested by one of my friends dad,GNIT was good and I joined. I got the seat in GNI by the rank I perseuved in EAMCET. There will a pre interaction with students for 10days naming it bridge course so that students can have an expectations on college, my opinion on my is good.

You dont have to give the entrance exam for taking admission in this college. The admission opens from July to August. I opt for MBA because the MBA has a wide scope in the present scenario. MBA students are needed in each and every field. The factor that made me choose this institute is the location. Institute is surrounded by green trees. And also it is not far from the Railway station and bus stand.
