The hostels of our college are only for couple of years and are based on merit score

In our college lot of student are a boys and girls. By the problem is the student not available the hostel for all the student it's limited
Our hostel mess is the very bad but I realise it is government so it's okay

Likes

The faculties of our college is supportive and supports in different lab works which is very useful for students.
Our college organize good fest such as prajwalan and Zenith which has very good budget and provides good exposure to students.

Dislikes

college has a very minimum seats for students in hostel
College should increase the number of hostels it has only two boys hostels and two girls hostels

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of a college is good and will help each and every student in their future. From this year 2024 we also have mint degrees such as data science artificial intelligence software Engineering and many more, this minor degrees will help students get more exposure to the things going on in the industries. For example now there is a trend going on of artificial intelligence and it is told that artificial intelligence can have a good demand in future so are college have introduced a minor degree course of artificial intelligence which will help many students to get a better jobs in their future.

Study atmosphere and more serious Student as compared to private colleges. Students really wanna do something in their life. And college os so strict so that we don't have much extra time for other time passing activities.
Hostel facilities are quite good as compared to government hostels they are new and well furnished. And atmosphere of hostel is quite good coz the allotment is on basis of cgpa and mhtcet percentile. So ya hostels are quite good.

Dislikes

College is orthodox, they hate couples inside campus or even friends. Seems collection is in the times of 90's where these could happen. So ya keep this in your mind this is a super orthodox college even to faculties.
Management...ya management is like the worse thing of the college it's like they don't use money in the most appropriate way it must be used.. as example we have a playground which ha sits annual maintenance fund is 20 lakh but it's not maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as we're and upcomming batches are from NEP 2020 and their curriculum is flexible regarding subjects as they have open elective and minor subjects of different departments so they can explore more departments as per their intrests.

The campus of Government College of Engineering Amravati is extremely large and lushed with scenic greenery
GCOEA's Prajwalan is the biggest technical event of central India

Dislikes

There is constant water shortage issue in the New Boys Hostel
The college ground remains usable only during the Kalpana Chawla Trophy(KCT)

College 's Infrastructure is Old, Not Good Enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Mainly Consists Of Math, Signals And Systems, Control Systems, Microcontrollers And Microprocessors, and Digital And Analog Circuits. These Subjects Mainly Influenced Me To Take Admission In Electronics Domain Of GCOEA. According To Seniors These Are Difficult Subjects and Many Of My Seniors Are Facing Backlog On S&S . The Exams Are Held Almost After Every 5 months And Mid Sems every 1 month, Meaning 1 Semister Consists 2 mid sems And 1 End Sem Exam.

The Campus is Very large and has a very big ground and ambient space.
The Cultural and Technical program that are held are very large and on next scale.

Dislikes

The do not provide hostel facility for all students only a handful of them get it based on caste certificate and else have to stay outside.
Sports ground and indoor facility are only maintained at the time of sports festival other wise the are left untouched

As a boom in IT industry and and interest in Computer I opted for Department of Information Technology in my college. The curriculum is well prepared but it does not include new technology as it has to uproved by higher educational officer's. Technology and Teachers are upto date but lake support from institution.The paper conducted are created by individual faculty as a result the are Consise related to the topic that are being taught

I like the faculty of our college. They support us in providing additional knowledge other than academic. They support development of entire personality.
I like the college provided campus. It is very big . And there are many places to organise different functions.

Dislikes

I don't like the hostel timings. It's 7 pm for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was not updated. It has to update accordingly. But the curriculum was informative also. It helps in many aspects actually like I was in electronic and telecommunication their I learnt very deep in that field. Exams conducted very very six months.
