- I have no dislike for this college, it is very old(1908) college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
From an early age, I wanted to do a course in Computers, so I don't join Chemical Engineering at Calcutta University which is the best Engineering College in West Bengal after Jadavpur University. The classes are very good with good facilities. Teachers are very good with friendly manner towards every Student.

- Well maintained discipline and anti ragging campus.
- Well educated and helpful faculty members
Dislikes
- Lab facilities needs to be more advanced
- Placement cell should be more engaging in bringing other companies too
Placement Experience:
From the 6-7th semester, placement gets started on-campus. Mostly mncs like tcs, cognizant,wipro, accenture, and tech Mahindra come. Other startups like Maventic, sett Consultants and many more companies come and hire. Almost 75% of students get placed on campus and the remaining to opt for further studies. My plan is to get and start a job in it companies after the degree.
Placement Experience:
I don't know this because everyone was placed. After the 7th sem placements start there are companies like Raymond, Jayashree, 4 stars, Arvind, Wardawan, reliance, and Bishnu cotton. The highest was 32000 per month and avg will be 25000 a month.

Highest package 8 lakhs per annum, Average 3.5-4, 70% of students placed, Government college of engineering and textile technology serampore (gcetts) provides nice placement is studied well. My plan is to get a master of technology.

in 7th sem students are eligible for campus placements. almost all the students are placed in various companies like VIP, raymonds etc. the highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. I want to apply for a higher degree in MTech in IIT Delhi in fibre science.

Firstly i am trying to get clear GET exam. From 5th sem students are eligible to participate in training interview. From 7th sem students are eligible to participate in campusing. Name of the company - Raymond , Relience, Four star, Joy Shree textile, Joy Ram Textile, Minimum percentage-80%

After 7th-semester students became eligible for placement. From our college, almost 80 percent of students get placement in different companies. Average Package- 3 to 4 lakh. Highest package in this year about 7lakh.
Remarks:
That college is established by British East India company, founder Sir William Carey. The most reputable college.This college mainly known for Textile Technology study.The first textile college west bengal.The placement facility are unbelievably good.Thats why i choose this college.
Admission:
In 2015, I was passed my 12th standard and gave the joint entrance exam and counselling for a technical course to do my bachelor degree. Then I selected this college and started Apparel Production and Management course. Around August 16 was our 1st college day.
Remarks:
Mostly positive but allot of negative too, but it's like any other engineering college, and don't get your hopes very high, any college would eventually disappoin you one or another way, so best work on your skills
