GGR College of Engineering came into being because of the impetus and the initiative of the Chairman at Vengammal Educational and Charitable Trust. The vision of this college is imparting skills and knowledge through technological education in the rural sector. Uplifting the economically and socially backward communities is also one of the main aims of this college. The college strives to provide comprehensive and quality education and also offers professional preparation in the field of Science and Technology.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum for B.Tech (Computer Science) involves extensive knowledge of the software and hardware of computers and programming. The labs are also very good and exams are not tiresome at all.

The course curriculum involves fundamentals of engineering and extensive knowledge of computer software and programming. The course is designed to prepare future software engineers with all the necessary knowledge.
Placement Experience:
Placement is not that good. There is no placement cell and no campus placement happens in our college. Most of the students struggle to get jobs and most of the students go for higher studies after B.TECH.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course structure was not well defined to focus on research. The course structure was pretty much focused on passing the exams. The library also doesn't contain many books. If you want to focus on research better not to choose this college for your engineering education.
