Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College B.Tech Admissions 2024

Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree programmes to its students in five different specializations namely, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. The duration for all the B.Tech programmes is four years. The total number of seats allocated for the B.Tech programme is 720 (annually).

Admission to the B.Tech programme is done through national level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Candidates who belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh need to appear for Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU).

Additionally candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology as optional subjects. Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree programmes to its students in nine different specializations, namely Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, Structural Engineering , Power Electronics, Thermal Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Systems, Embedded System, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Software Engineering.

Admission to the M.Tech programme is done through Graduate Aptitude Technical Examination (GATE) conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISC) and Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).
