Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement
- Candidate should have passed 10+2) Examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application/ Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above.
- At least 30% marks in English and minimum 45% marks in the above three subjects taken together.

Course Curriculum Overview:
IT sector are only field that at least gives jobs in the industry. we all knows the current situation of jobs and we also need time to develop skill in it field that the impact i knows and i would like to say that it. suggest the areas for improvement in the course I think we need proper at least 6 month time because it's a huge syllaybus ... the frequency of exam and timing is, in MAKAUT

Information technology is not core department but also it is an interesting course..in this course you will learn about coding, algorithms, development, hardware etc which are mostly efficient in this generation. you can easily crack any competitive exam like CAT, or GATE. this course provides you with what we actually companies needed form you ..so if interested in it sectors then this course is best for you...it's subject exam isn't very difficult if learn the practicals very well..

- Campus is very poor. Only three college buildings are available.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is not bad but faculty members are very rude from my experience but all teacher are not rude. 1:100 Qualification of the faculty members are graduated. 4 CA exam are held. In past pass is not hard but now from 2024 pass is not a easy process.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I have a keen interest in science and technology . I love coding so I decided to take this course as it gives you a wide knowledge about coding and also many other technologies involved. There are 10-15 professors for every branch . Every branch have 200-300 students. Most of the teachers have done M.Tech and PhD in there respective fields. Semester Exams happen every 5-6 months and there are 4 class assessments also which helps in performing good in the semester exams. The difficulty level of ths exam is good it's not a tough job to pass but it's not that easy too.

- Good teacher, who are really very friendly, and very supportive
- Good computer labs, with with good computing

- No playground, and no such place to hang out

I choosed Information Technology became, it's actually very innovative and I like it Faculty: students ratio can be said as 1:43, which is good enough All the teachers are well qualified, and we'll knowledged, they teach good enough. Every month we do have minor exams, and semister exam after every 6 months,

- I liked the teachers since they get along with us as friends I'm in first year so till date every teacher I met was really kind and helpful and since this college has 0 tolerance against ragging so it is also admirable .

Since This course is really growing in India with a great demand. The ratio of faculty student is 1:10 here . Almost every one has PhD else minimum everyone here has done Masters.Per year 2 sem exams total 8 since 4 years are there 4 Class assessment (CA) will be conducted
