Students become eligible from the 6th semester itself. They can complete their internships which are on their own or at the college. They even pay a stipend for the interns. Don't know about the companies who hadn't made offers. The highest package offered is 16 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. About 80% of the students get placed. My plan is to open a startup of a game development company.
As I'm a second year student, I'm yet to be familiarized with the placement process. However, I've been told by my seniors that the placement cell is quite active and provide them with training that helps them polish and develop appropriate skills.We also undergo internships for practical learning. The companies which come to the college for recruitment are Pathfront, CMS IT, Q Spider and many others.
?The placement department of the college is well equipped and organize pool campus drives for many companies. Regular talks by industry professionals are also conducted. We are made to develop technical and soft skills that will prove to be beneficial to the industry as well as to our own career. Some of my seniors who didn't get any placements on campus were also provided assistance by the college for off campus placements. The companies which visit the college for recruitment are Pinnacle, IBM, Unisys and many more.
Our college provide about 80% placement to students in our department. College focuses on 100% placement target. Few of the companies which visit our college for campus placement are, IBM,, Oracle, ICICI, Eureka Forbes, MindTree Private Limited, etc. Internship are provided by our college through the MOU's signed with about 25 + companies.
