Doranda College was established in 1962 and is affiliated to Ranchi University. Doranda College which was converted into a constituent unit of Ranchi University in April 1977 is committed to building a unique environment to facilitate the major faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational Courses of higher education and also facilitate the relationship between higher education and society.

The college offers a B.A. in 17 specializations, a B.Sc. in 5 specializations, B.Com., BBA, BCA, and BEd. at the UG level.

Admission to the B.Ed. program is done on the basis of the candidates’ performance in JCECE B.Ed. exam. Admission to all the other UG courses is granted on the basis of merit secured in 10+2 qualifying exams.

At the PG level, the institute offers an M.A in 13 specializations, M.Sc. in 5 specializations, M.Com., MBA, MCA for a duration of two years. Admission to the MBA program is granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in CAT/MAT/XAT.

Admission to the rest of the PG courses is granted on the basis of merit.

The collage campus and its infrastructure is very good.
Since the college is located in the main city so it is convenient for the students to reach there regularly.

Dislikes

Teacher are very good but the class strength is very less.
The online portal of the college is not so good as compared to other colleges

Forst of all you need to wait for the admission date released After that you need to feel the form from collage website.Form will charge 500 for this course After cut off released by the college you will called for document verification and admission process

Infrastructure is very good with vibrant Tree's and plants that provides greenery.

Students are not such helpful with rude behaviour

Admission:

No such eligibility criteria are there for admission to Doranda College till 2022 but now a student must be qualified CUET exam or the Doranda entrance test. We can find application forms, application fees, and application dates on the website of the college and even on collegedunia website. Reservations are given to SC, ST and OBC. exams are moderate and not such hard and are taken 4 times a year. Admission can be more smooth by adding some more members to the selection process.

Eligibility 50% in 12th Boards. One could easily get admission. Application form is available at college at nominal price. No semester system. Exams are conducted once at the end of every year. Must be present online more.

The admission process is easy I came in contact with my professor and I got admission. You can get admission from both processes online and offline. Application is available online at Doranda College. You will get many reservations and if you are from a certain reserved community you will get seat reservations too for ease of admission. many teachers and students will guide you well in admission.

Admission:

Admission is based on merit and entrance exam. Eligibility for UG Courses: 10+2 with at least 50% marks from a recognized board. Eligibility for PG Courses: Graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. Application forms can be downloaded from the college website or obtained from the college office. The application fee for UG courses is Rs. 500 for general category candidates and Rs. 400 for SC/ST candidates. The application fee for PG courses is Rs. 1000 for general category candidates and Rs. 800 for SC/ST candidates. The last date for submission of applications is usually in the month of August. The college conducts an entrance exam for admission to some of its UG courses. The entrance exam is usually held in the month of September. The cut-off for the entrance exam is released by the college after the exam is conducted.

Admission:

Previously direct addmission was through the chancellor portal but now the process has been changed. Firstly have to fill out the CUET entrance form but for the current session, you can apply directly through the chancellor portal. The eligibility criteria are that you must opt for mathematics in your 12th standard or you're pursuing 12th in commerce. Economics in graduation basically belongs to a Bachelor of Arts and this subject is considered one of the best subjects of the Arts stream.
