Hostel facilities are a bit okay I will not say very good, There is some new hostel is coming up but till then students have to adjust to triple sharing otherwise there is double sharing and there is a common bathroom or all the students. Meal breakfast is very good But lunch and dinner are okay. The hostel registration process will be included through admission only and the fee is very affordable approx 40k for 1 year. It is compulsory to live in a hostel for MBA students.
All amenities like lights, fans, beds, tables, balcony are provided. It's twin sharing and all students get a hostel, registration for which is done through ERP. Food is sadly not up to the mark in mess, but a lot of other options are there in the sprawling 10,000-acre campus.
Food menu and hostel facikties are goodHave not experienced first hand due to covidFood quality standard considering it is IITAccomodation cost cheap as it is a public university, 2100 acre campus and travel only through cycle
Hostel facilities are good. We have double sharing rooms in the hostel. Rooms are average, 4 sharing washrooms, common between 2 rooms. We have common mess for around 1500 students. Meals are not that good, just average. Breakfast is good.
Hostel accommodation is given. Good well-spaced rooms with hygiene and the toilets are shared between 2 rooms. The hostel has a mess that offers both veg and nonveg food and has a decent taste. The hostel brings in great memories before exams as students pull all-nighter studying. Night canteens are also open so you can kill the hunger at night after you are done studying.
Food was not that much good it was just OK. I would the I hated the hostel the day I arrived in IIT Kharagpur but eventually I started loving the same place and people around me. And believe me you won't stay in your hostel for more than 5-6 hours IIT Kharagpur is far more beautiful and there are plenty of places to go and eat so these things are least important.

The room has all the basic facilities available like a water purifier, geyser, separate balcony, etc. The quality and quantity of the meal are decent. The menu is very nutritious and you have the option to select between veg and nonveg.

Triple-sharing rooms and double-sharing rooms on the basis of availability. The mess of food needs to be improved. The hostel registration process is simple and it's affordable. The rooms will be allotted within the campus.
