Intership is done by the college only and it's must experience for medical students as realtime interaction with patients takes place there only and it's hectic And the stipend is very low 15k pm for the work done
Placements are not much for the undergraduate programmes. Most of the students go for higher studies like MD programmes. After that several students get higher job positions in both public and private sectors.
Internship is compulsory. it is in the same hospital itself. We are posted in all departments in this one year so we get exposure of every department. We can also opt for some postings(like radiology, or dermatology) according to your preference. It gives you an idea about which specialization you might want to take your PG in.
The college focuses at Value based higher education. There is the department of placement.they provide with great opportunities to its students. There are internships for the students to grow. They also provide with jobs and placements for their students. Many firms come and recruit the students. Many students take part in the placement programme and enhance their skills.
Placement is not worth mentioning since it's a new course to the college. Everyday posting is more than enough to have enough knowledge regarding hospital functioning and ya one mont of internship outside the hospital of your choice
