Likes

The faculties are very cooperative, teaching facilities are very good।
The hostels are also well maintained with affordable mess fees

Dislikes

Mess food can be made healthier and water scarcity sometimes
Rooms are small in hostel and very little space

Placement Experience:

The course is of four and half years, and after that one year of internship is provided by the college. This is a medical College so no specific companies come for placing offering placement. Students getting 100 Percent placements in our own campus

Campus is good with a very nice locality.
Silchar is very nice city where people are really helpful

Dislikes

Hostel quality not very good, it could be better
In mess breakfast or snacks are not provided

Placement Experience:

After 4th year in internship people will earn around 30-40k. After completing the course rural service post is also given by government. Moreover you can earn by opening a clinic or you can work in an private hospital.

Facilities: The teacher here are amazing and the campus is beautiful situated in the valley of Barak.

Dislikes

A few drawback of SMCH is it's location as the connectivity is poor with other parts of Assam.
The water facility in hostels are not tht good.

Internships Opportunities:

Every medical student should undergo internship and hence same happens with Smch too.every year the intern batch does internship for a period of 12 months with a stipend of 36k per month.They are posted in all the various departments of the hospital.

I like the way to education it provides.
The sports and other things are also amazing

Dislikes

The way of eduction distribution can be made modern
Infrastructure can be made more beautifully

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunity is quite available since it's a medical college Salary during internship is also highest in the whole country Patient influx of the college is also one of the highest in the whole country

Likes

Teachers, are no doubt extraordinary talented.
Canteen is no doubt fabulous in every aspect

Dislikes

Food is not that good. Just eating to survive
Rooms are not that enough big as compared to space per person

Internships Opportunities:

No specific companies come to our college, as it it medical college. Patients come with their problems and stipend is bare minimal as compared to the duties doctors do. Government should look after the stipend amount.

Infrastrusture can be modified.New thing should be build.
Digitalisation of studies must be encouraged.

Internships Opportunities:

Intership is basically in college itself since its a medical college. Oppurtunites to lear is vast. The patient influx is very high.Pay scale at intership in assam is highest in the whole country. So financially it is good to go.

Likes

I liked the freedom hostel Life offers. It is the most freedom you'll ever get in your life.
There are no restrictions as to when you can leave or enter the hostel.

Dislikes

Food is not good in the mess. At first it was unbearable.
The route from hostel to the class is gruesome. It's unbearable in summer.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship comes after passing the final year exam. However, according to new rules, we may have to pass the Next exam as well. The stipend is around 30k per month. Since the cost of living is low, it is a good stipend.

The college provides the internship from the hospital itself with the monthly stipend of 25,000 which is so good. The daily patient walk ins in the hospital give us a great opportunity to study so many different cases.

Placement Experience:

There is lot of options to do after MBBS but we need PG for gain extra knowledge and to be a best doctor. Our college organizes internship for a year to practice. The experience we had was really super and it?s a best part of our degree. We cried, rushed, scolded by doctors, punishments, hard work, etc. They may behave rude to us but the lesson they taught us to felt deep in our profession.

Placement Experience:

The college doesn?t provide a direct placement from here but the college only provide internship courses for final year students like house surgeon in a same college. Duties will be given according to the number of days. After completion of the internship we have a certificate which is used to work in clinic.
