From 2019 batch, CBME curriculum has been introduced which focuses mainly on problem based learning and includes more clinical postings from 1st year. We students hence get more acquainted to clinics since day 1.
The couse curriculum is well-structured and since the year I started this course new CBME (Competency-Based Medical Education) curriculum is introduced that focuses majorly on the clinical aspects of the 5-year study and hence is very helpful in further practice. The faculty members are quite good and knowledgeable. All the faculty members are selected through a well-screened process and almost all of them are postgraduates in their subjects of choice. Every department contains enough fulfilling faculty as mentioned in the guidelines of the National Medical Council. Our exams are structured as two internal assessments, one preliminary exam and the final exam conducted by the Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences. The internal assesment exams are structured in such a way that give students proper time to cover the syllabus and grasp it properly.
6,00,00 per annul are the fees being charged by the institution. Although it might look a lot but this is quite feasible in comparison to other private medical colleges across MH. The college provides a list of expenses at the start of the term and is keen on accepting all modes of payments.
Fee structure is approx 7½ lacs per year for our batch, which is expensive(excludes mess fess, deposit and other costs) It is not at all feasible for a middle class family, and people end up taking educational loans. Private medical colleges are expensive.
6.3 lakh per year is the tuition fees as of for my batch along with this an deposit is taken of 1.5 lakh rupees which would be returned on completion of the course and 20 thousands as other charges is taken
The fee structure is feasible than most MBBS, as it hits an all time low. But in accordance to other colleges (engineering, law, MBA), the fee is a bit on the higher side! The annual fee is of 6.5 lakhs.
In case of category student for eg OPEN - tuition fee (6.3 lakh) OBC- half of the tuition fees (3.15 lakh) Category student NT1 NT2 NT3 only development fees are there In case of SC and ST category there are no fees
The fee for our current batch is 6.3 lacs per year. Medical education is costly but this is still an affordable fee structure as compared to other colleges. For those people for whom this fee is not feasible.govt scholarships are available.
My college is semi government so it is expensive. We have to pay around 4.5 lakh per year for 4 years roughly. Which is obbviously expensive but this is the structure all over the india in medical field.
