About PIMS
Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences University was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India on 29th September 2003 under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956.
- The mother organization of this university, The Pravara Medical Trust was founded in the 1972 in a small village called Loni in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra State in India.
- The trust was established by the founder of the co-operative movement in India Dr. VitthalraoVikhepatil.
- In the year 1976 Pravara Medical Trust started providing medical care in the primary and secondary level. It also established a hospital with 100 beds.
- As days passed, the hospital grew up from 100 beds to 800 beds with multi disciplinary facilities.
- Now this university has taken a respectable in the society.

We need to give NEET UG exams to be eligible to do MBBS. The cutoff of PIMS is nearly 450 above. There is no reservation for any caste as such. The admission process is completely based on the marks you score

Good faculty who organise various seminars and group discussion. Very helpful teachers It continuously organize seminars and group discussion which are very helpful. There were sooo many fests and activities. They keep us fresh and active

The college offers world class education, all latest facilities, adequate patient load for clinical studies, seminars. There are only positives for this college however the only thing which is a bit negative the high fee structure and location of the college semi rural area.

Our college is driven by vikhe family and Mhaske family as they are trustee. but they never targets any student.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is pretty simple. It's all scheduled beforehand and almost on all days it goes that day. Sometimes it doesnt. Exam structure is also good. Only practicals are a bit hectic and burdening.

Postive- infrastructures, faculty, exposure, internship, sports, co curricular activties. Negative- boys hostel, mess food espe the girls hostel mess food is not very good. People do end up eating outside.

It's a very good college to complete your dream of becoming a doctor. Apart from studies, college teaches us to be humble and how to behave around patients. There is equal pressure for studies and other extracurricular activities.

My college is overall very good with good infrastructure and good proffessionals. Patient inflow is also good in the premises. Importance is given to conferences, guest lectures, and other co curricular activities.
