Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024 is expected to begin in July 2024 for the allocation of seats for admission to MBBS at KMCT Medical College. NEET PG 2024 is scheduled to be held on August 11, 2024 for admission to MD/ MS courses.

The KMCT Medical College is a part of the KMCT Group of Institutions offering quality education in the field of medical studies in India. The institute is located in Kozhikode in Kerala.
The college offers a 5-year MBBS degree course and a couple of postgraduate courses approved by the Medical Council of India and affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences.
- Admissions to the MBBS course are granted on the basis of academic merit and entrance test performance.
- Candidates who have successfully passed 10+2/higher secondary examinations with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in science stream from a recognized board meet the basic eligibility criteria specified by the college.
- Candidates must have Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects along with English core level in 10+2.
- Candidates must also appear for and produce scores obtained in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) to gain admission in the undergraduate course.

KMCT Medical College Undergraduate and Postgraduate Admissions 2024
KMCT Medical College offers a 5 years bachelors degree course in medicine (MBBS) and a couple of postgraduate courses in pharmacology and orthopedics. Candidates must score at least 50% (45% for reserved category) in their 10+2 examinations with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English as compulsory subjects. Postgraduate applicants must successfully complete MBBS in order to be eligible for admission to the MD courses.
Admissions to both the MBBS and MD courses are entrance based. Candidates must produce scores obtained in NEET before applying for the programmes. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of their 12th and MBBS marks (if applicable) and NEET scores. A merit list of shortlisted candidates is released by the college and displayed on the college notice board and website www.kmctmedicalcollege.org. Final selection is done after document verification and the candidate must pay the stipulated fee within the time period specified.

Eligibility is to pass the neet exam and score above 500 marks. Based on the mark apply to allotment lost and they can take admission through the allotment list. other application forms and lists are provided by the college once we reach there and can complete from there itself. application date is up to the next allotment or the allotted date by the college. Reservations are available for Muslim minorities and other reservations like the scheduled cast, and scheduled tribe are available.

Admission:
The eligibility criteria for this course are the NEET entrance exam. Those who got above the cut-off can apply to this course. After the declaration of the results by the National testing agency (NTA), the commissioner for the entrance examination (CEE) will put a separate rank list. The application fee is rupees 500. We want to give choices according to our preferences. The seat allotment is then conducted based on merit rank, choice filling, and availability of seats. Once you are allotted a seat, you will need to report designated college for document verification such as NEET score sheet, certificates, identification proofs, etc. after verification of documents pays 2,00000 to the CEE portal through bank transfer, and the balance of the actual fee to the college through bank transfer. 15 percent of the total seat is by all India quota. There is a reservation for scheduled caste (SC) and ST, and other backward classes (OBC). There is a Muslim merit quota also. Some seats are reserved for management quota and NRI students. The admission process should be faster.

Eligibility- NEET UG exam conducted yearly has to be qualified and registered under KEAM medical Kerala where they would allot rank MD seats based on marks and reservations (if you are eligible according to your documents uploaded). Income certificate, Nativity certificate, caste certificate (and Non-creamy layer certificate for OBC reservations) needed.

You need to qualify NEET exam with an average rank. Application forms and procedure can be found in the college site. Muslim minority reservations are present but one year compulsory bond along with it.

Admission in our college is based on entrance exam. I gave the NEET exam and got the college through 2nd round of counseling. Once I qualified the NEET exam I had this college in my shortlist. I scored 590 in NEET and sat for counseling where I was allotted a seat here.
