Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JLN Medical College), Ajmer is a government medical college established in 1965 by the Government of Rajasthan. It is affiliated to the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The attached JLN Government Hospital is one of the largest tertiary care hospitals in Rajasthan outside Jaipur, with a bed capacity of 1,428, including a dedicated emergency wing.

Admission is entirely NEET-driven. The NEET UG All India Quota closing rank for the General Category at JLN Ajmer was approximately 7,794 in 2024. Interns receive a stipend during their mandatory rotating internship year.

Admission Update: JLN Medical College MBBS admissions for the 2026-27 academic session are ongoing via NEET UG 2026 counselling. JLN Medical College Admission Process

All admissions are strictly NEET-based. JLN Medical College does not conduct any separate entrance examination.

MBBS Admission

NEET UG qualification is mandatory for all MBBS applicants. The All India Quota (15% of seats) is filled through MCC counselling. The State Quota (85% of seats) is filled through RUHS Rajasthan counselling based on NEET score and domicile preference.

JLN Ajmer does not offer Diploma in Pharmacy to students. There are three diploma courses offered in Cath Lab Technician, Ophthalmic Technology and Radiology.
